My favourites are lilacs, tulips, peonies and oriental lilies. I am currently living in a flat so no chance of having my dream garden here.  My mum just brought me a huge bunch of pink peonies and some tiger lilies from her garden.  The smell is quite soft but they look amazing! Had a bit shitty morning but cant help smiling now:) I would love to grow gardenias but I think the climate might be a bit harsh up here...

Visually, my absolute favorite is orange tiger lillies (no surprise huh?) with indigo blue freckles.

I have yet to meet a flower I didn't adore.  One of my favorite scents is the late summer smell of my hydrangeas right before they bloom fully.  So tart and sweet, green and woody.  My top ten are rose, lily-of-the-valley, daffodil, peony, marigold, freesia, tulip, hyacinth, lilac and blue globe thistle.

I love carnation (obviously) to the point I smell the essence left behind from a decant a fellow perfumista sent me of Blue Carnation.

Daphne odora (winter daphne) is a species of flowering plant in the family Thymelaeaceae, native to China and Japan. It is an evergreen shrub, grown for its very fragrant, fleshy, pale-pink, tubular flowers, each with 4 spreading lobes, and for its glossy foliage.

I love flowers.  All of them.  My favorite flower is a rose, I think they are gorgeous.  i love pink ones, peach, yellow, red, white, that ballet slipper pink color, just love them.  i also love wild roses and old fashioned roses and have a hot pink one outside in the summer that is beautiful, and I love to see a fence with pale pink climbing roses all over it. 

I also love lilacs, the look and the smell, and I have pink and white peonies that are gorgeous.  I LOVE hydrangeas, and have several bushes of them that look like pink and blue cotton candy.  They are incredibly beautiful. 

I love babies breath and forget me nots and have them everywhere in the summer .....tons of them.  I also love petunias, especially pink ones or red and white striped.

I love spring and Easter flowers, too; especially daffodils and narcissus, but also hyacinths and tulips.  And I love orange poppies, a whole field of them.  And Queen Anne's Lace, even though it is a weed.   Love wildflowers, too.  And dahlias and zinnias, lol.  Even the humble marigold, because it was my grandpa's favorite flower, along with the buttercup, which was one of his nicknames for me.

Oh, and gardenias and carnations, too, especially pink.  Or green, like they make at St. Patrick's Day, love, love, love them.

And I love glads and lilies and lily of the valley and bleeding hearts, too. And violets and pansies.  All of them. And daisies, especially when mixed with other flowers. 

Lol.  Safe to say I love flowers.

And wisteria.  And jonquils.  And, and, and...............

A true friend is someone who knows the song in your heart and can sing it back to you when you have forgotten the words.
