What happened to this perfume, not seen it for years and I loved it 29

It was by Karl Lagerfeld, and does anyone know of anything very similar?

I rediscovered it lately as I've got it in my wardrobe and plan to wear it next winter. I tend to think that it's still available too.

I think it can be still purchased online. Now you have reminded me, I'm going to check it out! Might get a small bottle to have for this winter!!

Does anyone who owns a full bottle of this fragrance know if the batch code is printed on the box? I recently found a bottle but am skeptical to buy because even though the batch code printed on the (label) at the bottom of the bottle matches, the number is printed on the cellophane wrapper and not the box.

Would an older product have a code printed on the wrapper rather than the box? An help is appreciated.

Love it!  I have a small old bottle and the juice has thickened at the bottom - one whiff periodically and it's pure heaven.

Sadly, Perfumes Lagerfeld is no longer in business. Coty is now the parent company. Current perfume trends have no room for the big spicy oriental. Many of the ingredients in KL are no longer in use. If it ever returns, it will be synthetically reformulated, unfortunately. Vintages pop up here and there for high prices. I hope that helps everybody.

Conifer Lover, I honestly don't know.  however on the lagerfeld for mens yes thats a reformulation.  The original bottles have a different font and does not say classic on the front.    Its got a deepness to it that is just unmistakable to anyone thats ever smelled it.    Lasts forever and a day on clothes too.

KL Homme is also brilliant. I use my precious bottle sparingly. Lagerfeld perfumes was one of the best! Coty just doesnt get it...
