What would people recommend as good fragrances for the coming colder months? Or even something all year round?

I feel really silly but I don't seem to have one particular taste I know that at the moment I love my nina by nina ricci, Thierry mugler womanity and recently purchased Vivienne Westwood let it rock which im not keen on at first spray but once it settles it is quite nice. Also just ordered dolce and gabanna rose the one as a blind buy.....

No need to feel silly; sounds like you have a open mind as far as new fragrances and that is wonderful!
Have you ever tested Thierry Mugler Angel in either the EDP or the EDT version? You might enjoy one of those...
I'm not sure where you are located, but the one I have on Keihl's Vanilla & Cedarwood, is just fall in a bottle in my opinion. I wrote a review on it and so did a couple other members; you might want to check it out and see if that peaks your interest...

Versace Crystal Noir and 
Dior Hypnotic Poison . There are many more but maybe this will give you an idea.

Nicole1978 I stay in the uk, the keihls vanilla and cedar wood sounds really interesting where could I find it? I used to have angel and sometimes it was quite nice but others it didn't sit right with me at all!
Whit I am tempted by the Versace crystal noir.
On a different note I am dying to try Marc Jacobs new frag Dot

I'm not sure where they would have it in the UK, but I think you could go to www.kiehls.com and see if their is a retailer near you. I personally placed an online order with Kiehl's after being gifted a sample of it.
As for Angel, I have heard the EDT is much more tolerable if the EDP is too strong or heavy for you...

I have Angel in the form of the body lotion and it's plenty strong enough. You can try it if the EDT and EDP are too strong for you. I think you would like Crystal Noir as well; it's very sexy and long lasting.
