Whats the best oud out there?..
Mona di Orio Les Nombres d’Or Oud My fav unisex Oud.
M. Micallef Aoud Gourmet The sweet side of Oud.
Montale Dark Aoud Brooding Alpha-male Oud.
Al-Rehab Al Hanouf Arabian power-house Oud.
I'm not a fan of oud, but this is excellent:
Dior La Collection Couturier Parfumeur Leather Oud
The best oud is also the most expensive oud,
It takes a year to make it and it's VERY expensive. It is not an overwhelming oud note, and all the supporting notes work in perfect harmony. By far, the best oud I've ever smelled.

Jesus Del Pozo Arabian Nights Much better than montales and M7 in my opinion
I don't think they use natural aoud in perfumes because it is very expensive

I beg to differ. . . . there is such a thing and it is not always synthetic...

1st grade agarwood
Agarwood, also known as oud, oodh or agar, is a dark resinous heartwood that forms in Aquilaria and Gyrinops[1] trees (large evergreens native to southeast Asia) when they become infected with a type of mold. Prior to infection, the heartwood is relatively light and pale coloured; however, as the infection progresses, the tree produces a dark aromatic resin in response to the attack, which results in a very dense, dark, resin embedded heartwood. The resin embedded wood is commonly called gaharu, jinko, aloeswood, agarwood, or oud (not to be confused with 'Bakhoor') and is valued in many cultures for its distinctive fragrance, and thus is used for incense and perfumes.
Uninfected Aqularia wood lacking the dark resin.
One of the reasons for the relative rarity and high cost of agarwood is the depletion of the wild resource.[2] Since 1995 Aquilaria malaccensis, the primary source, has been listed in Appendix II (potentially threatened species) by the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora.[3] In 2004 all Aquilaria species were listed in Appendix II; however, a number of countries have outstanding reservations regarding that listing.[3]
Adrien02 is correct. Oud is real and also very expensive hence why many companies use synthetics or ingredients that, once fused together, give off an oud accord.
Some great oud scents
Guerlain Songe d'un Bois d'Ete
Mona di Orio Les Nombres d’Or Oud
Dior La Collection Couturier Parfumeur Leather Oud
I can only speak about the oud's I have, which I love.
Giorgio Armani Armani Privé Oud Royal
And then there are the Montale Aouds, which are great, but tend to have a rose scent to them.
I can't wait to try
Acqua di Parma Colonia Intensa Oud Eau de Cologne Concentree
when it is available down here.
Juliette Has A Gun Midnight Oud
Dior La Collection Couturier Parfumeur Leather Oud
theres no such thing as oud - just synthetic agarwood to justify high prices.

I want a real oud perfume, surely there are scents that use real oud since there is a harvesting market that makes the oil It must be used somewhere ?
I admit I haven't had much exposure to an Oud focused fragrance. Closest I've came is M7 and Al Oudh by L'Artisian. But I love both of those quite a bit. Especially Al Oudh.
