Topic: If your house was on fire...

and you could only fit 3 perfumes into your getaway bag (assume every person and pet is safe, and you got your other valuables), which ones would you grab and why??

Mine would be

http://fimgs.net/images/perfume/m.146.jpg  Bvlgari Eau Parfumee au The Rouge Interesting and spicy--could be an evening scent. Discontinued.

http://fimgs.net/images/perfume/m.8468.jpg  Avon mark Sophistique All-purpose floral. Also discontinued.

http://fimgs.net/images/perfume/m.818.jpg  Burberry Burberry Women My ultimate comfort scent. It would make me feel better away from home.

Re: If your house was on fire...

Ooooh boy. I've often wondered about this. I really have no clue which ones I'd grab, but it would probably be my By Kilians simply because they're a lot more expensive to replace. Otherwise, I literally have no idea.

I love ya, Simon. RIP my little buddy. 08/03 - 06/30/14

Re: If your house was on fire...

I'd most likely grad my vintages because they are the most precious and impossible to replace

http://fimgs.net/images/perfume/m.4695.jpg  Givenchy L`Interdit 1oz pure parfum in box just like pic c1960's, my very first vintage scent ever. A blind buy - I absolutely adore Audrey Hepburn in "Breakfast at Tiffany's" and "Roman Holiday". this scent is sweet and spicy and the top notes are intact. My precious

http://fimgs.net/images/perfume/m.1964.jpg  Givenchy Le De Givenchy 1/2 oz pure parfum-looks exactly like the L'interdit pictured above but the box is cream colored, also a blind buy, c1960's .I had read that Audrey secretly prefered le De over L'interdit so I just had to smell it. It's my second favorite. A bit soapy and herbal in the opening but dries down to a beautiful smooth, sweet, amber floral. I treasure it. I'm an old soul

http://fimgs.net/images/perfume/m.218.jpg  Dior Poison c1985 1.7oz esprit de parfum, my witches brew, perfect for October...the season of the witch, yeahahh!

great thread BTW - good advice your Foxiness!

Parfum is my Passion

Re: If your house was on fire...

Well to be blunt, no perfume or ring or whatever material thing is worth my life.    If my house was on fire I would just make sure the occupants were out.  I can always buy more perfume some other time.

http://fimgs.net/images/perfume/m.1011.jpg Estée Lauder Private Collection Tuberose Gardenia because it's so amazing and it was expensive.

http://fimgs.net/images/perfume/m.36.jpg Givenchy Ysatis  because it is a new, full bottle. (A rarity for me)

Re: If your house was on fire...

Sorry, but I'm going to have to cheat here...  wink

http://fimgs.net/images/perfume/m.208.jpg Guerlain L'Heure Bleue  My EDP is from 2010, not vintage or anything, but it still has loads of treemoss in it. Sadly, I've heard that the most recent batch is missing this critical component, which makes my EDP all the more valuable in my eyes.

http://fimgs.net/images/perfume/m.312.jpg Cartier Must de Cartier (parfum)  This is the most expensive perfume in my collection

http://fimgs.net/images/perfume/m.609.jpg Chanel Coco  I have the pre-reformulation EDP

http://fimgs.net/images/perfume/m.94.jpg Yves Saint Laurent Paris   I have the pre-reformulation EDT

http://fimgs.net/images/perfume/m.3934.jpg Molinard Habanita  Because this EDT has been discontinued

... plus my minis of original version/pre-reformulation:

http://fimgs.net/images/perfume/m.223.jpg Dior Miss Dior

http://fimgs.net/images/perfume/m.221.jpg Dior Dune

http://fimgs.net/images/perfume/m.210.jpg Dior J`adore

Re: If your house was on fire...

http://fimgs.net/images/perfume/m.4410.jpg  Juicy Couture Viva la Juicy It's my favourite ^_^

http://fimgs.net/images/perfume/m.11789.jpg  Marc Jacobs Oh Lola! The most expensive :L

And the 3rd being:

http://fimgs.net/images/perfume/m.14010.jpg  Escada Escada Sexy Graffiti 2011 or http://fimgs.net/images/perfume/m.14009.jpg  Escada Escada Rockin' Rio 2011

Simply because they smell really nice smile

http://fimgs.net/images/perfume/m.6732.jpg Thierry Mugler Alien Liqueur de Parfum

http://fimgs.net/images/perfume/m.3006.jpg Lolita Lempicka Star Dust Midnight Fragrance

Because they are hard to find.

http://fimgs.net/images/perfume/m.1269.jpg Serge Lutens Datura Noir possibly discontinued beauty

These are the hardest to replace and the most expensive... assuming I would still be able to keep cool and think about that while stuffing them in the bag superglad

Heiress, Wrapped With Love, and Curious are currently my favorite 3 scents. If my family members and pets were safe I would save those perfumes.

http://fimgs.net/images/perfume/m.223.jpg Dior Miss Dior - Vintage - just speaks to my soul

http://fimgs.net/images/perfume/m.2153.jpg Rochas Madame Rochas Vintage pure parfum - just the most gorgeous, classy and beautiful scents ever, forget the EDP/EDT etc etc etc.

Re: If your house was on fire...

I agree with Chickenpotpie.  I once thought my house was on fire and all I went in for was my animals.  Nothing else ever crossed my mind.  I'd replace the ones on my top shelf.

A blessed Ramadan to you!

Re: If your house was on fire...

Just use logic, take the expensive ones,so you can afford others easily.take your credit cart, too glad
