Topic: Looking for the following Scents in India

Hi,

I have been having trouble finding the following perfumes; could anyone kindly help if they know of any good and genuine perfume online retailers or stores who would supply / stock the following.

I have searched through some of the prominent E-Portals and retail chains but haven't found them.

I am fine with genuine retailers/ suppliers based from other countries as long as they supply originals and are willing to ship for a fair price. It doesn't make sense paying $50-$70 as shipping cost for a bottle.

I avoid E-Bay and small time retailers as most of them sell fakes and imitations- not worth the time. (Not point to arguing about this, just plain facts)

Lol....I think you need to grab a dictionary and check the definition of "fact".  But you are right, there is no point arguing about this because it is a stupid statement.  There are plenty of ebay sellers and even more small time retailers that sell 100% legit fragrances.

Well though I did't want to comment on this topic... the situation in India is different... though most ppl are not very aware of this .. copy's of perfumes,  deo's, clothing, accessories although are very common although some retailers do sell originals bought through contacts from manufacturing units and pick up surplus stock.

Sitting out in the US I can only assume that u havn't been to Fake markets or seen how this industry works; heck most ppl in India are unaware of it. I have seen them, if I wanted a fake or a product am unsure of its readily available.

And about fakes / surplus / rejects sold at retailers- its a common practice too; many non-reputed retailers go through these practices. They will pick up X quantity from an authentic supplier and fill equal amount of stock from black-market vendors to cover themselves from Tax Audits / legal issues.. Its a complex system. Selling counterfeits / rejects / surplus is how most retailers stay afloat.

For example if u want just quickly browse through Alibaba on the sheer number of suppliers for these products...

I have original Louis Vitton's picked up at ridiculous price (factory surplus) as well as True copy designer sunglasses (heck even an optician couldn't spot the difference) so yet again don't want to be lectured on Fakes and un-trusted sources...

I am perfectly aware of counterfeiting in Asia and how prevalent it is.  However, in the USA, it is a federal offense and most people are not going to risk serious fines and jail time over a bottle of fake perfume.

I bought L'Instant de Guerlain Pour Homme Eau Extreme at Parcos, Express Avenue,Chennai and it is also available at Parcos,Mumbai-the importers email id is bpbp@baccarose.com and customer care no: 1800220864. The price is Rs.4600 only  glad . Dior Homme Intense was bought at Lifestyle, Hyderabad and is also available at Shoppers Stop, Hyderabad. If you not living in these cities then i suggest that you should get the customer care number of the importer of the particular brand from the retailer.

Thanks dude, shall inquire with the distributor tomorrow. Perhaps he might throw in a discount for purchasing multiple bottles.



I am based out of Chennai, so will also check at EA (which store in EA?) over the weekend.  For availability at Shoppers stop- thats where i picked up Givenchy Pi a week back and they cross checked with other stores and they didn't have it.
