Mo'osoi.
The scent from this flower is used alot in scented body oils in the Pacific. Perfume makers don't know what they are missing out on when not including this in their scents. Better then Tiare.
Frangipanis: If flowers were a signature scent this flower would be my signature.
Lily of the Valley,
, Jasmine

I love lilium, orchid, and some roses; like a lot strelitzia and jasmine, and calas (water lirium?), they are all lovely for ornamental bouquets, with branches, bamboo, etcetera.

I love tulips...

and poppies...

and calla lilies...

and scarlet roses

The White ginger lily (Hedychium coronarium). In Cuba it is the National Flower, known as "Mariposa blanca" literally "White Butterfly Flower", due to its similarity with a flying white butterfly. This particular species is incredibly fragrant and women used to adorn themselves with these flowers in Spanish colonial times; because of the intricate structure of the inflorescence, women hid and carried secret messages important to the independence cause under it.

Night Blooming Jasmine

Roses! There's nothing like them!
Lilacs bring me back to my childhood... so wonderful.
When the gardenias are in bloom here, the air is positively heavenly.
Jasmine and wisteria are also hypnotic.
Even though I can't "pull off" wearing every flower, I surely can enjoy their beauty and this forum is like an amazing garden for the eyes!
Thank you for the beautiful photos, everyone!!!

i went on a walk today and i found some milkweed. it smells absolutely heavenly! i picked a stalk and put it in a vase in my kitchen, and now the entire room smells like flowers. c:

As far as scent goes? My all-time favorite flower scent is a Stargazer Lily. It's warm and inviting but at the same time, cool and sophisticated. Second would have to be a cinnamon-y warm smelling Carnation. So cozy, and reminds me of my mommy!
Rouu: Your tulips are beautiful! i´m amazed you could grow tulips in Egypt!!!
thanks
, yep i was seeding them and thinking '' they will never grow up '' mid-December i started , usually tulips flowers by mid-March , mine were completely grown by early Feb
My favorite is white lily
Very Beautiful pics everyone!
I love all flowers especially if they scented except Marigolds. Flowers growing in my garden are especially dear to me but I have other favorites too.
In my garden & the ones I simply love are Roses, Frangipanis & Purple Iris. I have Jasmine growing too but I'm not too crazy about them. I simply adore Peonies, Gardenias, Tuberose & Magnolias. Waiting patiently for my mother-in law to give me cuttings from her flowers, the others will come eventually. As soon the weather becomes bearable I'll be off to the nursery again. Can't wait!
