Gosh, those are lovely! Lol, I bought a Coach bag..I gave in..I'll admit it, it was very gently used off Ebay..it's so cute for the summer..but I gotta admit..I haven't even worn it that much. I don't know why..like I don't feel comfortable with it, plus, I mean you always gotta worry about getting something on it. Make sure it's in the protective bag..all that stuff. I tend to pick up my way cheaper purses. So many good deals out there on purses that look great.

This is my current favourite bag that I actually own.
It is by Matt & Nat. An environmentally conscious fashion brand from Montreal, Canada. They are very popular here and perfect for the rainy weather.
ps. I know the photo is small but it is the only one I could find.

For everyday use I love Vera Bradley bags. They come in different colors, designs and styles. They are not heavy (so you may load them with all the goodies you like) and easy to clean, just put them in washer and drier.
I also own, Gucci, Dooney&Burke, Coach, Guess, Bebe etc. I am not into "purses" like I am into perfumes (my sister is actually into purses collecting, so she is probably better with the advice on purses). I prefer cheap Bradley bag to an expensive designer. Actually, it was my husband who bought or made me buy some of the designer purses, because he said that I have to look normal (whatever that means?). I would probably make him buy me a Birkin, so he can calm down.

People are always surprised by this, but ummm...
I use a wallet... Im so afraid of being jumped. So I try to keep a very thin wallet to make it look like I dont have any money on me. I dont even take my wallet if Im going somewhere where Im not going to be spending anything.

My favorite is the D&G Estelle Shopper bag in black color.
I also own few Escada and MaxMara handbags - love them for their quality!!!
I love canvas handbags.. my favorite one is from Ferre – huge black canvas one, that got so many compliments…
I could not live without canvas color Longchamps.
From cheaper bags I love Banana republic leather handbags, Francesco Basia and Furla bags, also also ZARA and Massimo Dutti bags.
I also own vintage LV, vintage Gucci and Vintage YSL small bags - love them for the vintage classical style!
And on my wishlist is CELINE shopping tote....
I do not usually buy handbags in their 1st price... I try to wait for the sale
About the wallets.. I own and love MaxMara ones in leather or Furla ones.
My dream wallet would be Mulberry or Chanel...

I like guess and Gucci bags very much.Bradley bags are great for spring and summer and goes well with summer dresses.
by the way,just wondering what your husband means that you have to look normal?!!!

really?it's strange,personally I can't leave home without a bunch of things,sunglasses,sun block cream,handsfree,lip gloss...
but it's not a bad trend.you won't ever have any osteoarthritis problem.congrats!

I love the look of all bags but as I age, I am getting more practical.
I don't buy bags with a lot of bling because they are already heavy before you put anything in them.
I don't buy bags with double carry straps because they can be awkward and one strap is always falling off the shoulder.
I love the look of clutch bags for evening but I don't buy these anymore because it is difficult to hold a drink, eat a canape and give a handshake. Something that slips over the wrist or shoulder makes it easier to relax and enjoy yourself.

It was for sale at Bergdorf Goodman for $2,450 some years ago. So...that means "we" can find it cheaper today! 
some other REALLY cute and similar one(s) are:
Prada East / West Nappa Gaufre Tote and it sell for $2,200 at saks and it's SMALLER than Halle's and isn't exactly like her's because hers is a coule of years older than this model--but it's likely to cost even more than $2,200.00! Although MANY of the bags I LOVE that Halle carries are $500.00 and under though I've looked for a couple of bags that I've seen Halle carry and was pleasantly surprised that they were not as expensive as these pictured.

Bergdoff Goodman has a nylon one that's kinda similar...it's $1,100 bucks--it's the PradaTessuto Gaufre Tote so to find that dark brown one, (it's NOT that shiny one/patent/enamel Leather from e-Bay), the one pictured that you like is (and is indeed H.O.T.)--it's either Nappa/Lamb/Deer or Buffalo leather. This one from BG pails in comparison--it looks far cheaper and indeed IS !
