Topic: Chanel Allure or Allure Blanche edition?

Hi,

I know this question is subjective but then again, maybe not...



I'm in doubt wich one i should get, the Blanche edition or the original?

I'm looking for a light scent, perfect for regular occasions.



Can anyone help me out here please?

This is the lighter (and more versatile) scent in my opinion.

I suggest trying both and deciding which you like best.

Ok thanks people!



I had the Blanche edition already in mind since it's supposed to be a lighter version of the original, i know the original Allure and i love it, but i'm looking for something good, light, but nothing too special, just a clean comfortable scent to wear on an average day, yet with a sophisticated touch to it.

The tumbling of the midnotes and basenotes is amazing. It needs heat to jump out of the wearer's skin so I find this perfect for Spring and early Fall; can be cloying in the Summer, though. The basenotes can endure the harsh winter if one would like to wear it during that season.



The lighter version with the same Tonka Bean domination in the basenotes is YSL's original L'Homme. Clean, fresh, light, sweet. Perfect for the Spring. you can bathe in it (to compensate the longevity issue) and yet it still won't clear the room.

I made my choice then, I'll go for the Blanche edition, although, normally i'd go for the regular one, but i really want something featherlight, nothing pungent, just a nice good scent, i think this will be perfect.Although, i'm still tempted to go for the regular one, that's why i opened this topic in the first place, i need to break with old habits and try something new.

After sampling it i came to the conclusion that i don't really like the Blanche one that much, i tried and i wanted to but i just don't get the vibe out of it that i'm looking for, Allure Pour Homme is amazing though, but not for summer imo, but for winter it's gonna be a blast!

I'm looking for something very very light, fresh but not necessarilly citric, something along the lines of Light Blue by Dolce and Gabbana, but different, it may smell like fresh loundry, if i wanted to describe the scent it would actually be a very light blue scent.  glad
