When I first smelled it, M was warm, deep, & a little woody. She was a mixture of Jasmine, Vanilla, & a subtle trace of cedar. I wear it from time to time & out of all the fragrance I have M got the most compliments.
I think you'll find you have found a home here. Most of us don't subscribe to the gender/age marketing of perfumes. In fact, today I received my much-anticipated 
M. Micallef Rose Aoud and knew immediately that I loved it and that it would smell wonderfully sexy on my hubby. Needless to say, he got spritzed by the sparkly pink bottle when he got home from work today and actually is enjoying the fragrance!

Fragrance holds no rules, only titles. Male, female...it's all the same if it works for you, and you feel comfortable wearing it. I learned a long time ago that life is just way too short to worry what others think, and that if something makes you happy, you should embrace with all that you've got.

Thank You, Your right life is too short. If I like something, it shouldn't matter because I want it for myself. (off topic) my mom who's not really a fragrance person saw the bottle, smelled it, then sprayed some on. "This smells good, M, I want you to go get me some".

lol, I love M & so do people around me. On the days I wore it people I didn't know say I smell good. This fragrance will be a permanent part in my collection
My fiancee wears:
Victoria`s Secret Strawberries and Champagne
every single day! he drenches his undershirts in it before going out, and likes spraying it on after his bath...he keeps repurchasing it everytime he runs out.
I think men (and women) should wear what they love.
Funnily though, he was not very enthusiastic when I spritz on Bvlgari's Aqva on myself and suggested I wear something more feminine around him :p

Be free and be true to yourself! :0) It does not matter what the label says,please do not be shaped by marketing or by anyone else. You know what perfume smells good on you. Perfume does not have a set gender. The label is to be ignored. I think it is so lovely that you have found a perfume you enjoy so much! :0)

Hey there,Until Forever,this is Off Topic: but still kind of on topic too. I want to tell you I have a cruelty free imitation of Mariah M (I have never smelled the original M before.) I want to recommend another perfume to you if you are a big marshmallow lover! :0) I have to say,my imitation of M is so pretty and marshmallowy! There is a GORGEOUS perfume oil made by Somethin' Special that I buy (it is cruelty free as are all of her products) The perfume is called Marshmallow Fluff. It is so pretty and the marshmallow scent wafts around me for a good 10 hours when I wear it! Other people notice it too,so I know it is strong! :0)

For the M,you just have to tell the seller (Opulent Alchemy) at the point of sale that you are choosing Mariah M type perfume.

PerfumesPersonally, I also agree that no spesifaction of gender for fragrance. But, what about people around you...? About culture where you living? I mean, in where I'm living now, they don't see fragrances like us. So, for me, I won't feel comfortable to wear, let see my 
Diptyque Do Son, or 
Hermes Eau Claire des Merveilles when I was in public, otherwise people will think I'm "strange", and they'll keep shouting their opinion, in the end I won't feel comfortable. Then, so far, I only choose my "male" fragrances when I go out in public.
Anyhow, it was just a story of mine... sorry if it's a bit out of the topic :(

My cousin has Victoria's Secret Strawberries & Champange, it's soft & warm, a very nice smell. I haven't selled Bvlgari Aqva, I'll try that out.
As I'm Growing as a fragrance lover I'm learning the gender line is really non existent

My sister had imitation of M by Mariah Carey, that's how I first smelled the fragrance. Later on in the year I was shopping & decided to get a bottle of the actual fragrance.
The imitation has a marshmallow & creamy vanilla presence throughout the scent life. The actual fragrance is Gardenia dominated with a background of marshmallow, incense, & patchouli.

What I would like to add is; It's none of your business of what others think or feel about you. It's what you think and feel about yourself that's important. When people blame and criticize others, THEY are AVOIDING some TRUTH ABOUT THEMSELVES.
Really, WHO CARES ? If a woman is wearing a " fragrance for men " or a guy wearing " a perfume for women" BLAAAH BLAAH BLAAH ! WHATEVER.....WHATEVER . they are " shouting " because they have MISERABLE LIVES.
So I hope this brings you some comfort, is all.

it was on topic, I agree with you. I thought people would respond with some type of negative imput, but everyone liked it. I say if you like give it a try you'd be surprised by how people may actually like it on you

Oh yes,I wanted to tell you,I mean to clarify: The M imitation that I have is very floral as well. It is creamy tiare fowers and soft smoke/patchouli drying down,but it also has definite marshmallow tones too. And a pinch of salt water too.

PerfumesUntil Forever: I admire you for this. I think it's actually the manliest thing in the world when a man wears whatever he likes because it makes him happy. Every single guy I know is in the pursuit of proving their manhood with dark colors, masculine smells or body odor (because a real man doesn't wear scents!) I just think: Seriously guys? Are you so homophobic that you go out of your way to prove your manhood? Some of those really "macho" dudes love the perfumes I make them try (I can tell by their initial reaction) but they refuse to wear them. Same goes for clothes or certain activities like opera or ballet. They like to watch it on TV but won't go to see it live.
And that kind of avoidance is soooo NOT HOT!

my girlfriend used to wear this. its one of her favorites. to me on her it smelled fruity with some candy. i liked it to i guess, not sure how it would smell on a man. i love the way rihanna perfumes smell but to be honest i dont think i would wear them. maybe spray some in the car. but i dont really see a big difference when i put on dior homme which to me smells femenine.

Hi JB78...I agree 1000%....I just started wearing "womens" fragrances about 3 years ago and I think of all the time wasted where I was limiting myself by 50%!! Well no more limitations for me...I now where whatever I'm in the mood for and today I'm wearing probably one of my most feminine perfumes T.M. Angel Innocent and I'm Rockin It!!

only kidding - wear what you like! I used to regularly wear 'manly' scents when I was a youngester - now I've got a fondness for 'old lady scents that ewwwww smell like a grandma' - I've no shame, me.

I totally agree with you, but it does take confidence to wear stuff that is outside the norm & sometimes it's hard to do.
