I dont know the name of that particular Lady I want to praise here, But I think she is the only one working at this shop in Duesseldorf , Germany.

The shop is called Beauty affair and is located near the famous Koenigsallee.

Its a small shop with all the mayor niche houses.

This particular Lady never tires of helping you to choose, She makes shopping a real pleasurable experience.

knowledgeable explaining compositions, trends and new discoveries. I have been there twice this year and will no doubt visit again soon.

whilst chatting she told me that she had the best job in the entire world.

who could disagree.

If you ever in Duesseldorf , Go and say hello from the gentleman who lives in London.

Chanel counter - john lewis, brent cross. lovely service to my elder daughter with samples, when she was 14 & looking for her first 'posh' perfume. she returned to choose http://fimgs.net/images/perfume/m.1483.jpg Chanel Chance Eau Fraiche at a later date.




Chanel counter - Fenwick's new bond street - again super service to my younger daughter (aged 13) with a sample of http://fimgs.net/images/perfume/m.8069.jpg Chanel Chance Eau Tendre, even though we weren't making a purchase. totally made her day.




Penhaligon's - Bicester shopping village - the ladies are always delightful there.  I bought a heavily discounted bottle of http://fimgs.net/images/perfume/m.4544.jpg Penhaligon`s Lily & Spice today




Charming older lady, Fenwick's Brent Cross - extremely knowledgable & friendly, gave me a sample of http://fimgs.net/images/perfume/m.14722.jpg Annick Goutal Nuit Etoilee the other day & discussed how it had developed on her skin. she obviously tries new stock out herself. she has a short grey bob & is quite petite (well, to me she seemed petite, but I am quite tall...)

I went to Dillard's the other day to buy a new bottle of Hypnotic Poison and asked for samples with my purchases like I always do.  The sales girl was young and inexperienced (when I asked for Hypnotic she said, "That's the one in the red bottle, right?") but she was very sweet.  When I asked for samples she threw a bunch of them in my bag, lots of new stuff that's recently come out, and she was very helpful with her suggestions about what she liked that she thought I might like.  I wish more SA's were like this!  I can handle inexperience, but not rudeness.

The lady at the Sisley counter in the fancy department store (Brown Thomas) I went to today was knowledgeable and extremely helpful and friendly. She was patient with all my questions and responded enthusiastically when I wanted to discuss notes and such. She also gave me loads of samples! The younger female SA at the perfume hall in another department store (Arnotts) I went to I had had a chat with on a previous occasion, I'd told her I was starting out as a youtube reviewer and she took my channel name down, but she'd lost it so she asked me for it again.

She was so sweet and enthusiastic and told her colleagues about my reviews and such and was just lovely. There were like four of five SA's all asking me about my channel and stuff. They were all extremely sweet.

Harrods in London ... Boadicea The Victorious Counter ... a gorgeous guy named Will was extremely helpful and knew his brand inside out!! He took me on a fantasy ride of fragrance glad ... I bought http://fimgs.net/images/perfume/m.7441.jpg Boadicea the Victorious Alluring ...

by chance I passed an outlet from Santa Maria Novella at Picadilly , London

and couldn't resist entering.

I didn't have much time and asked the charming Gentleman who was tending the shop to let me smell what he thought of one of the best and most popular fragrances for man from this perfume house.

Novella Melograno (Pomegranate)

to try and a couple of others

Beautiful stuff.

He was very polite and helpful even though he knew I was only wasting his time.

the delightful D from Fragrantica sent me a sample of the newest scent Pioneer and since than I am hooked , must try more of that Brand

Latest good experience was at the Jo Malone counter with Caroline, at Saks in New Orleans, LA. She was awesome  29 and even wrote me a thank you note with her business card saying "please let me know if you'd like other product and we will ship to you." Who does that anymore? I want to purchase other Jo's so I'll be buying from her naturally.

ahh, but you might go back another day & purchase. I think the best sales assistants should always take this longer-term view. my elder daughter is now on her 2nd bottle of chance eau fraiche & could well be very loyal to the brand in future, she is only 17 now, so that is a lot of potential future sales. whereas rudeness to anyone could totally switch them off the brand.

Charming Fenwick's lady is great isn't she? on another visit she trotted around looking for summer specials for me when I said I wanted to try the summer limited edtions.
