I noticed that too. Men's Fragrances are often fresh and last longer, it's a mystery to me.
I notice the opposite. Men's perfumes tend to be made with cheaper ingredients (than in former times) and therefore don't last as long as women's do. But I think it depends on what you're comparing, I mean a cheap women's perfume made of poor quality ingredients might not last as long a better quality man's perfume...
BONJOUR.It depends on the composition and the notes.
Yes, men perfumes with woods, spicy notes are staying longer than fruits (citruses for example). So are women perfumes I think
But most of women's fragrances have better sillage than men's, i'm sure of it.

Isn't that also dependent on how much you use of it? Men seem to douse themselves in fragrance or deo more often than women do.. so that may explain a thing or 2..
I think it depends on the formula, and type of notes present. I don't know why most male perfumes are sold as and edt or cologne concentration, I think some types of male scents that claim to be edt are actually an eau de parfum. It seems a bit odd to me
I wear men's scents sometimes, just because they do last longer (the ones that I have selected, and I have more options to choose from in the oriental/spicy category.

yes, that I meant when I said...

I agree it is very dependant on the composition. Female frags are much more common in EDP concentration also, whereas male are usually EDT, implying better performance, so it is interesting that the ladies are saying the opposite. Personally speaking, I would say that if EDT was in question both would be about the same, however, due to the often sharper/spicier nature of male scents it is possible to perceive them as longer lasting.
Cheers!
