I definitely smell the similar kinds of notes, and I do think that they are similar in THAT regard- but Truth or Dare is pretty much an infinitely cheaper smelling version I think so I voted no because I don't think anyone should be fooled into thinking they are on the same level, they are not. Truth or Dare is nowhere near as quality or well blended and I wish I could say nicer about it but I pretty much despise all Fracas wannabe fragrances. Fracas or die lol.

Truth or Dare smells like the old Comptoir Sud Pacific's original Tiare.  To my nose, that is.  I smell some coconut in the mix as well.  I thought it smelled great since I was a huge fan of the original CSP's Tiare.

i guess everyone smells things differently and as with murphy's law, the answer you didn't want is the answer you got? But if it's any consolation, I completely disagree with all 24 of them. Fracas is THE tuberose, according to anyone. "truth or dare" doesn't come anywhere close. It is a wannabe copycat that can't even achieve its aims. I appreciate the artist Madonna, but this scent is really barely passable.

Please don't live in the agony of uncertainty. Life is too short. Fracas is a special scent and you might feel better just jumping off the fence and getting a bottle. In the event that you don't like it, at least you know it. And I am very sure it won't be hard to find someone to take it off your hands. Good luck.  11

Yes, you're right. And I know that this topic might sound dumb... as in "why don't you just go and sample it and have your own opinion" but the problem is that Fracas  is not available in my country and not even online sample stores ship it :(

I am thinking of blind buying it, I have read every piece of information about Fracas, tuberose is by far my favorite smell and I know I MUST at least sample it. But I was just shocked at the comparison and since it's quite the pricey scent, I thought I'd ask.

If you took it from the opposite side, lots of comparisons (reminds me of section) in the Fracas page go to Blonde and Silver. I have never tried Fracas but I can tell that Silver (I'm wearing currently) and Blonde (used to have it) are almost identical and this leads me to think that they are very similar to Fracas as well.

So at your place, I think I would see which is available in your country, test it and then decide which is more suitable budget wise. But following your threads, I'd say Paulina you will continue being "restless" till you get your hands on Fracas glad

You are totally right! I will be restless and that's why I decided to blind buy it in a couple of months...

ebay UK has small bottles (5ml) and they post worldwide. The cost isn't low, but still much less than a whole full-sized bottle.

fracas cologne with no indoles for the top, then ToD goes in a different direction. just my opinion

I used the Fracas some time so I was curious to Truth of Dare, because. I know the smell Fracas that Madonna uses. My view is that the smell is much inspired by the Fracas, I find a lot of common components - scent should have some time to work on the skin

Well, I finally was able to briefly sample Fracas and the answer is NO!

They are not similar at all in my opinion. Now it turns out Truth or Dare is being compared with Versace's Blonde!
