Topic: If you had only one choice...

Here it is. The day you have dreaded!! You are stranded on a deserted island. You may find yourself happy about this (I know I certainly would!!)...but, pretend you are NOT!  51

You have to look beautiful, so that the land crabs won't mistake you for a beached squid. You can only have one cosmetic item. Which is it???

For me, it was mascara. I am saved from land crabs. Hardy har har!

Wellllll I have a dillemma... My eyelashes are blonde, so I'd pick mascara because then people can actually see them... butttttt I'd preferrrr black false eyelashes, then it'd sure look funny without mascara!  19

I picked foundation, if I'm not going to wear much makeup I just use coverup.

Easy choice, mascara because I have albino eyelashes. I could still have perfume and nail polish, right??

I vote for lipstick. With the passing years, my lips have become quite pale and a bit of lippy really makes a difference. I'd like mascara too as my lashes are virtually invisible, but lippy gets priority.

Are these crabs edible?

Foundation! I use only a little on my nose, chin and around my eyes - but that's basically all the make-up I use most days.

I voted for lipstick.  I don't need foundation, have thick black eyelashes and deep blue eyes but my lips are thin and pale so a little lip color is necessary.

Mascara.  In a pinch, I've used it on my eyelashes (nice and heavy at base to give the illusion of a touch of eyeliner too,) and lightly on my eyebrows after using on lashes (to diminish any excess product.)  Mascara can often be three products in one.

I vote for mascara...my eyelashes are very short and when I use mascara theres a lovely change to my eyes. Really wouldn't need foundation or bronzer since the sun would change my color anyway...

I voted for lipstick because I have naturally pale lips. Plus, it can double as a blush.

I was torn between lipstick and foundation, but figured even nice, even skin wouldn't look good with sickly, pale lips...

I voted for lipstick. It was close between lipstick and eyeliner, but if I had eyeliner, then I would need mascara too, otherwise it would look totally weird, so I'd be happy with some sparkly gloss.

hmmm... would I have sunglasses with me? If so lipstick.

Otherwise mascara!



I often got out without my full face on, a light powder and lipstick and synglasses... then I still look made up. Gotta have my eyes done or behind sunglasses.

I picked foundation. Really I can leave the house with just a concealer for under my eyes, the dark circles really age me.

Foundation is my choice too, dark undereyes, reddish uneven skin. Not a great look.
