Topic: Looking for powder!

Hi friends!

It's me again with another question.

I really love powder. http://fimgs.net/images/perfume/m.14227.jpg Prada Infusion d'Iris Eau de Parfum Absolue I have been wearing this a lot, and it's got a lot of powder in it, as well as lots of resin, but I am looking for something that is pretty much mostly powder with florals. I don't want vanilla or too much iris (I have enough iris perfume). I also don't want anything that is way too sweet.

I've tried these already, and they are too gourmand. I don't want almonds, heavy violet (can't stand violet on my skin), or turkish delight or marzipan.

I am looking for something more along the lines of talcum powder with a touch of floral, but the talcum part should be the strongest.

Any ideas? Something must exist!

Thank you!

this is really powdery and I like powdery plus the angel's trumpet note is awesome for me.

I find their range generally quite powdery

Poudre de Fleurs ~ for women. “Sophisticated and assertively feminine, Poudre de Fleurs perfectly embodies the glamour and refinement of a precious jewel. After well-tempered fresh notes of neroli, tangerine and lime leaves, we arrive at a floral heart of rose, jasmine and gardenia, which in turn is backed by a savvy base composed of vanilla, patchouly and sandalwood. This opulent floral bouquet is the incarnation of absolute sensuality…”

I've not tried this one but it looks as if it might be worth a look gives you a closer take on the floral side but probably nowhere near a powdery as......

This might be worth you trying it’s absolutely talc in liquid form, truly amazing great sillage and decent longevity. I just hope it's not too sweet for you. I would say nowhere near as sweet as any of the examples you have given as I have all of those myself. If you try it do let me know how you get on other than Gourmand Coquin chocolaty and Teint de Neige almondy it's the best powder out there IMO well worth a try. Only downside is that it's not floral but I think this would layer with florals quite well so if you liked it enough you could possibly get around it that way.

Sorry, I just noticed you were going for a niche scent, and the only thing I can suggest are mainstream frags.

Thanks again everyone!!

Teint de Neige comes up so frequently and looks very close to what I want.  I will probably get a decant and test it out before committing to a FB...

Will def explore the other great options as well!!  hjarta
