what do you prefer out of lipstick or lipgloss

i do wear lipgloss more often well literely every day but often wear lipstick what do you guys prefer?

Out of the two - lipgloss. But overall, I prefer a lipstain topped with lip balm. I don't like leaving smudges on glasses/straws when drinking, or marks on my loved ones when I kiss them.

To be super specific, my favorite lip color product is sheer lipstick.

I adore how lip gloss looks but I hate how sticky it gets and especially when it is windy and my hair touches the gloss and that feeling of sticky hair can make me so angry.

Without question lipstick!

I love the density of color and with the long lasting formulas out there you never have to reapply! One less worry at work!

I use lipstick topped with lipgloss, lipgloss alone just don't give me the intensity I need and even non long-lasting lipsticks last quite long.

I tend to wear only lipgloss when I know I will eat or drink because it won't leave weird stains on the lips. I don't really care about stains on things, actually once that I ate home I saw that I was mostly eating it I left very little traces around but I looked like I had contoured lips after.

Both. It depends on the day, the color I want to wear, and the effect I want. I wear lipgloss more often, but it doesn't mean I like it better.

I like the wet feel it brings to my lips and most of the times lip glosses are more delicious.

to me lipsticks seem too traditional,suitable for classy women.but I prefer being easygoing.

For everyday use, I like tinted lip-balms or lip-stains, especially when they're flavored superglad

When I'm dressing up, then I'd go for lipstick, mix it with lip-balm, or maybe topped with a little gloss. But generally I hate the feel of sticky, wet lips, so I rarely use gloss.

Lipstick. I like the feeling and the look of it much better than lip gloss (they often feel sticky and wear off more quickly- I love Estee Lauder lip gloss though, but it's an exception)

If I'm in the mood for slightly glossy lips I'll choose ''glossy looking'' lipsticks.

Lipstick. Redish tones, redish pink, redish nude, redish brown, red transparent.

I don't like glosses because I have long hair... I hate it when it flies in my face and smudges the lipgloss all over....

I like both, but I like lipgloss better, because I like a more casual look.  And I agree, Revlon lipglosses are awesome!

I got that situation! My lips was sexier with lipgloss but yes it is sticky.

BOTH - I have been a lipstick freak forever.  So much so that I have been teased about it to this day. The moist lipstick it has to be. The gloss is nice too, sometimes a dab over the lipstick. Other times it's nice with a light pink for the summer or with the smokey-eye shadow. The soft moist lips completes the make-up I think, even if you just wear a little.

I threw away all my lip gloss and switched to sheer or transparent lipstick instead. I just can't stand that sticky quality of lip gloss, but to wear a rich-color lipstick to the gym is a bit too much. I discovered some amazing transparent lipsticks from Guerlain, so I bought 6 different colors.

I have heard Lancome lip glosses are amazing, but I would never spend this kind of money on a lip gloss...

I only bought one lip gloss by Lancome. The quality is undeniably higher than all those Revlons and Loreals that make your lips crack and peel afterwards. But you are right, for the price you are better off getting a lipstick. Plus, lipsticks last a lot longer, in my case at least.

Lipstick all the way for me. I'm a huge fan of the classic red pout. Lipgloss doesn't make enough of a statement for me. I don't really like glossy, shimmery cosmetics.
