My life-long love. Perfect in every way.

Magnolia, Gardenia, Jasmine, Rose, Snapdragon, Lilac.
Love flowers, with few exceptions (red roses are too cliché, lavender i hate and carnations I dislike).
Am totally in love with fragrant lilies (the white virginal kind). Love my flowers mostly WHITE. Mums and dahlias, wonderful !
Cactus flowers like I used to see in the desert when I was a child! I miss them so!

Beautiful!
I love all flowers and as you can see roses are my favorite.... jasmine has a special place in my heart since my daughter is Yasmine. I have enjoyed all the pictures posted and so I will add some of the more.
In the streets of Cairo at night it is popular to buy small floral leis called fuul that give off the most delicious scent.
Trillium....In the woodlands of Western NY this a favorite with some being purest white while others a deep burgandy.
This is called a rain plant and it grows thin green leaves and then when it rains you suddenly have a burst of gorgeous pink flowers...have had this for many years and it gives me great joy.
Flame Tree which is found all over Cairo...it has a full blown display of flowers in the spring then in the summer a second display but with fewer blooms. I think it is so cute how one petal is white and just speckled with the dazzling orange which is not just a regular orange but a deep red tangerine color with an iridescent shimmer ...when they fall it is like walking in natures brilliant confetti parade.
Mountain Laurel....a beauty I remember since my childhood while taking nature walks with my family in Allegheny State Park.
Blooming in my garden:

I saw a passion flower just like this one growing wild in the grass in City Park in New Orleans. It was love at first sight.
To smell:
Sweet William
Morning Glory
and hundreds more.
To Look:
Pansy
Fuchsia
To eat:
Nasturtium
I love lot of weird and the completely normal flowers. E.g.:
Erythrina amazonica
Honeysuckle
Passiflora balbis
Thyme
Chamaedaphne
Traveller's tree
Passiflora macrophylla
Champaca
Passiflora cuprea
Passiflora nigradenia
Comfrey
Figwort
Bauhinia madagascariensis
Rhodochiton
Parrot impatiens
Laburnum
Black locust
Perrier's baobab
Moringa
Cobea
Strophanthus
Ferns
Caiophora coronata
Evening stock
Evening primrose
Fumitory
Royal poinciana
Monkshood
Aristolochia arborea
Sweet mock-orange
Stanhopea orchids
Carrion plants
Columbine
Belladonna
Foxglove
Rubber vine
Kigelia
Oil palm
Vietnamese balm
Tube clematis
Abyssinian gladiolus
Tamarisk
Passiflora cirrhiflora
Mexican marigold
Titan arum
Colville's glory tree
Is there another such madman in this world? ;P

My most favorite flower is sunflowers (various kinds) I always had a dream that I would one day live in a cute lavender house with bold white trim... and massive sunflowers!
Mexican Petunias; (I have some of these growing in my yard)
Calliandra Eriophylla; (also known as pom pom bush or fairy duster) we use to have these growing infront of our house when I was growing up. The color of the house was bright peach with country blue trim. It was pretty!
Justicia Brandegeana; (also known as shrimp plant) this is a picture of the one I had awhile back.
Bird of Paradise; (we have several of these where we live now) my mother has a candy cane one that is nothing but red and white.
Frangipani; (also known as Plumeria or Hawaiian plant) we have lots of these here in Florida. We actually have a few imports from Hawaii that my aunt has brought us back from several of her vacations.
Hibiscus; (these also grow wild here) always had some of these. My favorite are the big oversize peach ones.
Bougainvillea; these are so pretty when they vine up on a gazebo or lattice.
Now just getting carried away... there are lots of others like poinsettia, crap myrtle, flowering trees like jacaranda, tabebuia, Loquat, and fake looking rubbery eucalyptus trees. I love roses and orchids... passion flowers are pretty. We have lots of jasmine and bleeding hearts... coral plants.
Here is a yellow tabebuia tree; our neighbors two houses over have a medium size one and that thing is so damn pretty when it has fully turned...

I love camelias, honeysuckles, and yellow roses!
I love peonies, iris, day lilies, roses, coneflowers, hosta and clematis.
Plumeria
Bird of Paradise

I forgot how much I love snapdragons, sweet william, and pansies.
I can't think of a flower I don't love. Morning glories and honeysuckle, too.
Lillium regale
Thanks for reminding me I need to place an order of bulbs soon!
I like lily of the valley.
I some some real ones at the florist today. Can anyone tell me how fragrant they really are?

Very fragrant! If you don't have a garden, you can purchase lily of the valley pips and force them indoors.
Next time you see them at the florist, don't be afraid to get closer and inhale their perfume. It's heavenly!
Not too experienced yet with the scent of all flowers, but here are the ones that I know I love the smell of:
Hybrid Roses (Not sure if these smell the same as regular roses? But they smell of tea, and it is absolutely lovely... not to mention how beautiful they are!)
Jasmine
Gardenias
Lilacs
I'm sure there are more that I like the smell of; I am just not experienced at matching smell with flower yet ^____^
In general I looooove looking at flowers, all flowers! At home my family has a wonderful little garden, and I have to say my favorites are the tulips, hybrid roses, and hydrangeas
My favorites in real life are lily of the valley, lilacs, iris, lilies in general, and hyacinths. My grandmother was an avid gardener and I grew up smelling these fresh flowers all spring and summer.
