Airness Logo

Airness is a French sportswear and footwear brand. It was founded by Malamine Koné in 1999 in Saint-Denis, suburb of Paris, France.

Malamine Koné, a former boxer, was dedicated to the idea to create a high-quality brand of sportswear, not “street wear” that is usually associated with suburbs. He named the brand after his idol “His Airness” Michael Jordan, the famous basketball player. His boxer nickname was “The Panther” so he incorporated a panther’s image to the brand’s logo. Only six years after its foundation, the Airness brand settled permanently into the closed circle of suppliers for professional football. The brand was worn by famous names of football such: Djibril Cisse, Jean-Pierre Papin, Daniel Van Buyten, Didier Drogba, Sylvain Wiltord, Guy Roux, Thierry Rolland…

In 2004, with over 2000 outlets in France, Airness signed its first contract to equip the Stade Rennais football club, followed by FC Nantes, Valenciennes FC, LOSC, AJA Auxerre, Boavista in Portugal, Genk in Belgium, Fulham in England and seven African international selections : Benin, Burkina Faso, Congo Brazzaville, Congo Kinshasa, Gabon, Guinea and Mali.

Today, Airness is a multi-sport brand, producing equipment for football, boxing, basketball, rugby and tennis. In 2008 it partnered up with L’Oreal to launch a fragrance line.

Airness is a new fragrance brand. Designer Airness has 3 perfumes in our fragrance base all launched in 2008.
