Austin Reed is a British fashion house founded in 1900 in London.

Austin Leonard Reed, opened his first shop on Fenchurch Street on the 7th July 1900 and it was the culmination of years of experience and hard work. He learnt the trade from his father and then from he studied at some of the most impressive retail outlets in the USA. Austin Leonard Reed was the first menswear retailer to specifically target the growing population of London commuters and he specialized in ready-to-wear menswear. In the 1920s Austin Reed really took flight, prompted by a centennial redevelopment in Regent Street and the subsequent arrival of the brand's prestigious flagship store, which remains to this day.

Today, the company blends traditional values with 21st century innovation and it has transformed itself from a heritage-led business into a dynamic global group that is both fashion-forward and classically elegant, made for modern gentlemen. The brand also includes womenswear collections and labels such as RED, Cut, 110 and Luxury For Less. Its clientele included famous names like Sir Winston Churchill, Elizabeth Taylor and The Beatles.
