Barbie Logo

Barbie is an iconic American fashion doll first launched in 1959 by toy company Mattel, Inc. The brainchild of American businesswoman Ruth Handler, who named the doll after her own daughter, Barbara, the Barbie doll was one of the first to feature a grown woman's figure. The popular doll has graced the toy collections of little girls around the world for more than 50 years and is a popular collectible item with adults as well.

Barbie is known for her luxurious blonde hair (though brunette Barbies and, later, African-American Barbies were marketed), as well as her ever-changing wardrobe and accessories lines which keep pace with contemporary fashion. In addition to the Barbie doll, a line of companion dolls for Barbie, as well as lifestyle accessories such as homes and cars, were launched. Barbie has evolved through assorted careers over the years, each career doll coming with appropriate uniforms and accoutrements. She is the subject of animated films and books, and has been featured in a portrait by famed artist Andy Warhol.

Barbie fragrances are an extension of the brand, and are offered in conjunction with Spanish fragrance house Puig.

Designer Barbie has 8 perfumes in our fragrance base. The earliest edition was created in 1997 and the newest is from 2013.
