Chi is a hair-product and cosmetics brand, belonging to the Farouk Systems, Inc.

Farouk Systems was founded by Farouk Shami in 1986. It is a company of hairdresser’s products and tools, based in Houston, Texas, USA. Chi brand won the American Salon Professional’s Choice Award in for favorite shine enhancer, favorite flat iron and favorite blow dryer in 2007, Behind the Chair Stylist Choice Awards in 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008 and 2009 and many other rewards for their products.

Chi launched two fragrances: Miss Chi and Chi Man in 2006.
