Collistar is a cosmetic company founded in Italy. At its beginning, it was a cosmetic division of a pharmaceutical company until Daniela Sacerdote took the leading management position in 1982 and made it a famous cosmetic and perfumery name. Collistar was bought by Bolton Group in 1993 with Daniela still holding her position. In 2006, it won the first place in Global Beaute market in each of two segments – make-up and treatment.
Collistar is considered to be a very innovative company in its advertisements; it was the first one to create an editorial-type press campaign, the first one that was selling exclusively in perfumeries to advertise on radio and one of the first companies to use internet (1995). Their products are famous through the world for high quality and fashionable and up-to-date packaging.
Acqua Attiva is the first masculine fragrance of the brand, presented in 2009, inspired by Italy and Mediterranean sea and vegetation.
