Decleor is a French cosmetic brand, founded in Paris in 1974. It was originally named CLEOR, which stands for “Clé en Or” or Golden Key that opens the Temple of Beauty. Its philosophy is "Be more than skin-deep". The brand was founded by a team consisting of a beautician, a doctor, a shiatsu teacher and an aromatherapist and physiotherapist, the latter being a pioneer in her field.

Decleor offers skin care, body treatments and natural cosmetics that is 100% pure, 100% natural, and without colorants or preservatives. The first daily serums of the brand are known under the name of Aromessence. They became an immediate success as soon as they were launched and were quickly joined by innovative face, body, sun and men products.

As aromatherapy became popular and appreciated in the 1990s, Decleor’s treatment products and the Aromessence firmed they ground in the industry. In 2000, the brand paired with the Shiseido Group, which expanded the brand’s international distribution and introduced it to new markets like Asia. Today, Decleor is considered the world's largest cosmetic Aromatherapy brand.

The firs fragrance of the brand was named Aromantic and it was introduced in 1999. The brand’s fragrances are dedicated to well-being and happiness as well as healthy skin care.
