Detaille perfumes and colognes

Detaille is a niche cosmetic house, founded in 1905 and named after the husband of Countess de Presle, Edouard Detaille. The chemist Marcellin Berthelot made a hand cream for the countess, and so it all began.

The collection enlarged itself with toilet waters and powders, and the clientele of this store included the names such as Queen of Bulgaria, Queen of Belgium, a few Maharajas, Countesses, Princesses and various famous personalities from public life.

Detaille is an old perfume house. Designer Detaille has 13 perfumes in our fragrance base all launched in 1905.
