Helmut Lang perfumes and colognes

Helmut Lang is an Austrian artist and fashion designer born in Vienna, who now lives and works in New York and on Long Island. He established his trademark in 1978 and had his first international presentation at Centre Georges Pompidou in 1986. Ever since then he was very successful in fashion design till the year of 1995 when he decided to leave fashion and dedicate his time to art. Lang introduced unconventional materials into the urban uniform and defined the silhouette of the 1990s and early 2000s. He is significant for being the first one who streamed his collection online, redefining how fashion is communicated.

His artistic creations included collaborations with artists Jenny Holzer and Louise Bourgeois. Lang’s recent works explore abstract sculptural forms and physical arrangements and space beyond the limitations of the human body. He organized his first solo art exhibition ALLES GLEICH SCHWER at the Kestnergesellschaft in Hanover in 2008. Lang has published excerpts from his ongoing art projects Long Island Diaries and The Selective Memory Series in several publications.

Helmut Lang has introduced three fragrances so far – two for men and one for women. Cuiron pour Homme is a Woody Chypre fragrance for men launched in 2002. The nose behind this fragrance is Quest International. Top notes are mandarin orange and bergamot; middle notes are cinnamon and pepper; base notes are labdanum, tobacco and suede. Eau de Cologne is a Oriental Woody fragrance for men launched in 2000. The nose behind this fragrance is Dragoco. Top notes are rosemary and lavender; middle notes are jasmine, heliotrope, lily-of-the-valley and rose; base notes are sandalwood, patchouli, musk and cedar. The first Lang's fragrance for women is Eau de Parfum by Helmut Lang, launched in 2000. Top notes are rosemary, lavender and cotton candy; middle notes are jasmine, heliotrope, lily-of-the-valley and rose; base notes are sandalwood, patchouli, vanilla and cedar.
