Louis Feraud perfumes and colognes

Louis Féraud was a French fashion designer and artist. In 1950, Louis Féraud created his first "Maison de Couture" in Cannes and in 1955 established a couture house in Paris.

He became widely known in the next decade and started dressing the Parisian elite and designed the wardrobe of Brigitte Bardot for many of her movies. His first haute couture collection was presented in 1958 in Paris. In 1970 a significant contract was signed – the one with Fink from Germany for a ladies' prêt-à-porter (ready-to-wear) collection. One of the most important prizes he won was the "Golden Thimble Award" for his Spring/Summer 1978 Haute Couture Collection, and again in 1984.

The designer was also elected Prince de l'Art de Vivre in 1991. In 1995 he was decorated Officier de la Légion d'honneur, by the French President. Even his daughter entered the world of fashion and launched her first Haute Couture collection with Féraud in 1996. In 1999, which is the year of the fashion designer’s death, the Dutch group Secon acquired Féraud.

It was in 2000 that Yvan Mispelaere joined the group as artistic director and presented his first Haute Couture fashion showin Paris. In 2002 the German Group ESCADA took 90% of the Féraud shares and Yvan Mispelaere left the company. Féraud turned to ladies' ready-to-wear and Jean-Paul Knott was selected as Creative Director. In 2003 the worldwide flagship store opened in Paris.

The house entered the world of perfumery in 1982 with their first fragrance for women – Fantasque. Perfume production continued in 2004 and has been active up till today. A total of 8 fragrances for men and women have been launched on the market so far.

Designer Louis Feraud has 8 perfumes in our fragrance base. The earliest edition was created in 1982 and the newest is from 2011. Louis Feraud fragrances were made in collaboration with perfumers Ilias Ermenidis and Jean-Pierre Bethouart.
