Miya Shinma perfumes and colognes

Miya Shinma is a selective perfume brand founded by Miya Shinma in 1998.

Miya was born in Japan in 1970. After her journey to Florence in 1995 she discovered perfumery for herself. She compares perfumer's work and creation with composer's work.

She started studying perfumery in 1997 in Paris. Her teacher was Monique Schelinger, founder of private school Cinquième Sens.

Miya launched her first perfume line in 1998. Her house can be called Japanese or French, since it presents a bridge between two cultures and traditions. As a Japanese, Miya is thrilled with beauty of nature, which has always inspired her. Nature is her muse. As an aesthete, Miya tries to make her compositions firstly well orchestered.

Miya has a very serious approach to choice or raw materials, which help her express her feelings. The creator is also writing a book on a section in perfumery.
