Parfums de Nicolaï perfumes and colognes

Patricia de Nicolaï is a woman of many talents. Not only is she a perfumer whose scent creations are loved by many people all over the world, she is also the founder and owner of Parfums de Nicolaï, a highly acclaimed niche fragrance brand, and the current president of the Osmothèque, the perfume museum in Versailles in France. She is a perfume artist. successful businesswoman on a busy schedule and her creative head is always full of ideas. Despite her immense workload she makes time for composing new perfumes whenever she feels the urge to give life to a fragrant vision.

But let us start at the very beginning. Particia de Nicolaï, a descendant of the Guerlain family, was born in Paris in 1957. And it was only natural that she grew up in the legendary Guerlain family home where she was constantly surrounded by an aura of creativity and her family's passion for elegant and classic fragrances and where her own love affair with perfumes began.

After finishing school she went to Versailles to study chemistry at the famous ISIPCA university, on whose grounds the Osmothèque is based today. Her extensive studies mainly focused on perfume creation, a field where she learned the art of composing fragrances and, having proven her talent, her playground to hone her craft.

But instead of joining Guerlain's family business, Patricia started to work for Florasynth and later for Quest International where she was part of the team that developed Lancôme's Trésor. In 1989 she founded her own brand, Parfums de Nicolaï, with the help of her husband, Jean Louis Mishau.

The first fragrance that was presented under the brand name of Parfums de Nicolaï was Number One. And it was this delicate and harmonious white floral perfume that she was awarded the International Prize for Young Perfumers for by the French Society of Perfumers in 1988. Patricia was the first female perfumer to be honoured with this award.

Much time has passed since the Patricia had set up her business. She is now one of the most famous perfumers in the niche perfumery branch.

Designer Parfums de Nicolaï has 36 perfumes in our fragrance base. The earliest edition was created in 1989 and the newest is from 2011. Parfums de Nicolaï fragrances were made in collaboration with perfumers Patricia de Nicolaï, Patricia de Nicolai and Patricia de Nikolai.
