Stephanie de Saint-Aignan is a new perfumer who launched her first collection in 2007 under her own name. She studied at the ISIPCA perfumery and cosmetics school in Versailles, Paris where she developed her love and passion for this type of art. She used her personal experiences, such as traveling and reading, as inspirations for her fragrances.
L’Eau de Shahine is her first creation, inspired by her firs love. The premier collection launched in 2007 and included seven exotic, rich and sophisticated perfumes. Those fragrances are: Berberiades (inspired by Marrakesh), Le Pot Aus Roses (the smell of ancient roses and rice powder), Amande Honorable (the scent of childhood memories with almonds and musk), Un The Au Sahara (inspired by Paul Bowles’ novel “The Sheltering Sky”) , Voleur de Ciels (for those who believe in heaven), Tobacco Mucho (created as a memory of her father) and Embruns d’Ambre (devoted to some of the happiest summers of her life).
Stephanie-s initial idea was to launch a new collection that would replace the old one each year, but so far only 2007 and 2008 collections were presented.
