Originally named Parfums de Vigny, this classic perfumery house was founded in 1919 and closed 1952. It was founded by the brothers Jacques Vogel (perfumer) and Lucien Vogel (he was the founder of French Vogue and the leather of the Art Deco movement, lived from 1886-1954)) in Paris and named after the French poet Alfred de Vigny. All fragrances are referring to some of the stories from this writer.
The first fragrance of the house is known as Musky and it was launched in 1919. There flacons were designed by Lalique and Brosse, famous for their debatably humorous style. In 1933 the name of the house was simplified to Vigny.
Designer Vigny has 6 perfumes in our fragrance base. Vigny is an old perfume house. The earliest edition was created in 1919 and the newest is from 1933. The nose who worked on Vigny fragrances is Jacque Vogel.
