rubj eau de parfum Vero Profumo

I prefer rubj in eau de parfum, the top note of passion fruit made a magical transformation to the entire composition. It became a delicious fragrance very comfortable to wear. My favorite part is the contrast between finest fruity-floral nuances and sexy rough base. Very strange and very appealing, can't compare to anything... I wear it with pleasure.

The color is definitely red, and the feeling is very safe.

Kalimantan Chantecaille

Gorgeous fragrance, a wonderful spicy hot, very good-orchestrated composition on the canvas of chypre notes.

We smelled a lot of scents that day, but it was Kalimantan my husband sprayed on his hand, and I couldn't help myself not smell him in the car. It's also good for women. My husband said it reminded him of Eau d'Italie Baume du Doge, but I think that Baume is much more intense, it burns.

Frangipane Chantecaille

Frangipane by Chantecaille is a very fresh floral bouquet that opens on my skin with a lot of violet leaves (watery green cucumber-like freshness). Frangipani itself appears only like an echo, rounded by very clean and pure floral notes. It's not intense, not edible, nothing coconut-like, I mean very exotic, about it.

Dear Andy, I absolutely love the fragrance ;o) It includes many notes (I feel lilac, jasmine) that together make an impression of a tiny white flower hidden in the woods.

It has nothing with Diorissimo, and I also like this perfume more ;o) It has a vintage quality, you wear it like jewelry.

The top of the fragrance is very interesting, rough green, even gourmand for those who likes green vegetables ;o) I love it and wish it lasts a little bit longer. After the first wave the composition becomes spicy-woody, cozy, light.

The idea of fragrance as adornment doesn't work here, Yachtsman fragrances are more like essential part of you. That's why I find them very modern.

Cabo Yachtsman

This fragrance is the most feminine from the collection of four.

I thought it's an exotic fruit or exotic flower in the top of the composition before I saw the notes. In the combination with woods it reminded me of polished wood surface (I had the same feeling smelling Sampaquita by Ormonde Jayne). I like the combination. The sea is like an echo. Sometimes salty notes could be too salty, too prominent and uneasy. In this fragrance they just enhance the idea of freshness and cleanness.

This fragrance is like a clean fresh shirt, so easy to wear, nothing annoys you, everything pleases. Very light. They do serve the idea of sailing the sea.

As I said this fragrance women might like, but it would be also very interesting on men. Fruits together with aromatic notes (One Million) are very actual today. But this fragrance is better balanced and lighter.

Botanical Essence No.1 Liz Earle

Absolutely love it! This is my kind of refreshing cologne like fragrance for boosting spirits! A sophisticated blend of citrusy-spicy-aromatic notes, sharp citrus spicy at the beginning and mild herbal after few minutes. There is a nice old-fashioned classy nuance in it.

The box is gorgeous.

Womanity Thierry Mugler

I can add that I was very skeptical about that pink bottle, but when I smelled it, I understand that it's the same thing he made with the blue color of Angel.

The color suits the smell very much, the bottle is more attractive in real, than at the picture, the chain and the ring are heavy. Pink goes very well with that gray (a nuance of caviar) metal top.

And the smell: thanks to Clarins I smelled three nuances separately, it helped me to understand the structure. First was the fig accord. It was beautiful and pink, very cheerful, juicy, milky, but I felt almost disappointed until I inhale the middle one - caviar! That caviar is absolutely unique and very attractive scent. It's salty (not fishy, but animalic) and dark, woody, sometimes even nutty, full of facets! And I like them together, fig and caviar ;o))

My husband said what a strange scent you have, he is very picky, but he said it's beautiful. And extremely powerful, be careful with the dosage.

I have it now on my hand, gorgeous pair of citrus and amber notes. It's citrusy floral with warm undertones at the very beginning, with time amber becomes richer and more mysterious, it feels almost like Frankincense - bold, warm, unforgettable. I like it ;o)

The bottle is heavy, and the cap is wooden and smells beautiful.

If you are looking for a fragrance with pure light living magnolia, Magnolia by YR is not light floral.

This fragrance is created in the style of 1980-ties. Oily, fruity, intense heavy floral. Some perfumes of that time I can describe as mix of everything ;o)) When I was young, I didn't think so. This fragrance together with Creation by Ted Lapidus were my "light" florals ;o))

Green perfumes (I mean the color, but I don't mind if it's green in all meanings) are my choice for this Spring!

Green by A Perfume Organic is woody floral green, I feel a lot of ylang-ylang in it, pleasant dirty nuances of mushroom and rose! The rose is not so evident, but I feel her with time...
The fragrance is cozy, the color of the juice is wonderfully green, and the bottle is cute and easy to apply.

For me it's not at all cloying, I even don't care about the notes (what is it cacao, raspberry?.. it's boring to counts and spoil everything). This fragrance should be inhale and understand as it is, an impression of dark sweet rose, mysterious, unbelievable and very real, a flower fatale for every bee.

It's like the time stops when you smell it. This rose is an attribute to a very beautiful woman, I instantly imagine Monica Belucci in Malena - virtue and beauty.

I spent my New Year holidays in New Hampshire, in the forest that smelled on pine, cypress and fir... Healing aroma! I was under the impression of that magical place, when the perfume Trevert was released by Aftelier. The right thing based on the pine needles!

The fragrance is pleasantly intimate as all natural perfumes I know. It's not sharp, slightly woody sweet. The smell of needles is not strong, it's mixed with green notes of herbs. Pine is often associated with perfumes for men, but this one is feminine, very relaxing, not sharp no too balmy sweet ;o) The color of the juice is gorgeous, just like at the picture.

Un Lys Serge Lutens

As VioletLily said, this is one of the most beautiful lily fragrances. Another beautiful, more dynamic, is Lys by Le Jardin Retrouve.

This is my kind of fragrances when I want to relax and feel myself cozy and peaceful. I can't say it's sexy, but very feminine fragrance. I have been looking for this fragrance for years. For me this scent is very calm and quite, first lily fragrance with such peaceful temper.

"The soft, sensual and refreshingly innocent floral fragrance" (according to the designer) is absolutely true about this scent.

This is a very pleasant casual scent that can please every woman, even if you don't like florals ;o) The only thing I'd like to be better is staying power, but may be it's up to my skin chemistry. I believe it stays longer on clothes.

Christopher Joseph perfume is not an extraordinary scent (not strange, not outstanding), but it's beautifully feminine casual fragrance, perfectly balanced for that purpose. I think men wouldn't say "your perfume is beautiful", but "your skin smells heavenly".

Right after applying it you get a floral bouquet (jasmine-like, rose-like), then soapy-clean lily-of-the valley appears on my skin (just a hint, don't be afraid of that soapy note:). And after five minutes you have your second-skin fragrance that is peachy-floral, velvety light, very pleasant and intimate.

Eau de Cuir de Russie Le Jardin Retrouve

The most unusual Cuir de Russie! Very original, floral and soft... I can't find leather in it, but I have the impression of touching very thin and refined leather, or sitting in old library with leather furniture... Something in the air, but not evident.

Very unusual for love at the first sniff, but I must admit I like it more and more sniffing it from my sleeve, by the way it's very long lasting, but in some unusual subtle way.

This scent is wonderful! It's not very spicy on me, it smells more like lime, then lemon. It's not harsh or sour at all, very gentle and even floral, slightly powder...

I think it's better on men, then women, because of its elegance and quiet very balanced friendly temper. I think every woman wants to have a gentleman besides her, this scent is about polite, communicative, clever person, with a good taste ;o))

One of my favorite scents, always return to this perfect citrus scent. I am a citrus lover and I am a great lover of traditional cologne. This scent, along with E by Princess Elizabeth, are the best citruses I ever smelled!

I bought it on Christmas two years ago. Usually when I dream of a perfume for a long time, and then buy it, the perfume loses half of its mystery for me. But not this one, I adore every note: its brightness, crispness, perfect harmony of citrus, green, bitter, chypre nuances. This is MY combination! It's very long lasting and invisible, like a veil, always around you and people feel it.

When I wear it, I feel like I belong to another time and place, it's classy, but polite, without any declaration. It's like a very pleasant person, who is shy and very interesting. Oh I absolutely love it.

Natori reminds me of sharp fragrances my mother had (fruity chypres, I even don't know the names, I used to play with them when I was five) ;o) I like it very much, it's not very long lasting, but it doesn't disappear from my skin, just becomes smoothier. I get dark tart plum at the very beginning, I like this part the most.

I have been smelling it all day, very nostalgic, even a little bit sad, but in a noble way, as after watching a good old movie.

This is my favorite for now, a perfect harmony of fruits and flowers, and it contains peony, I can smell it along with the tenderest mimosa. Mimosa is the most detectable on my skin, water melon make it fresh and radiant, just a little bit. Lovely magnolia! After a while I smell peach. I think it's a very good example of how to smell modern and elegant.

I don't like peppery flowers, but here pink pepper smells right. ;o)

I think this perfume stands out of the perfumes by Sarah I have tested till today. I find them clean, light, very feminine. Forever Lily is a bright oriental. It reminds me of one of my favorite fragrances - "E" by princess Elizabeth, just a little bit - I smell intoxicating aroma of hyacinth in it and warm powder of cedar and amber. But in Forever Lily the notes are more considered, concentrated, temperamental. It doesn't contain hyacinth, but I believe lily and fig give me that impression, because hyacinth has something rough layering with green and tender floral.. and i love it.

Oh, it's not a mainstream at all, you should prepare yourself for a floral fragrance with a strong character and hot temper.

Oh yes! I agree with you dear Judith! I like Sipario and the entire Teatro Olfattivo line. This scent is so cheerful and relaxing, like doing nothing and sipping pina colada.

I smell all the ingredients of this cocktail: coconut cream, delicious sweet pineapple and rum. This alcohol note keeps the composition from transformation into ordinary almost childish delight. Rum is light, but noticeable. Sweet, but as Judith said not overwhelming sweet.

Strip Agent Provocateur

I forgot my Strip at my mom and dad's place, and I missed it so much, because its leathery-ambery scent was so cozy and sexy at the same time.

I like its sharp opening, I smell herbal-leather notes in it, and it challenges and pleases me, then the fragrance becomes sweeter, less aggressive and warm, I love this part too, and me, my husband and children love the smell of my pillow, when I wear Strip.

Strip is cozy scent of being home with my family in the evening.

I bought Red Moscow in pure perfume as they wrote on the label. It's still very chip, only 147 rubles (about 5 dollars), and beautiful, but less oily and less carnation (unfortunately), also I remember this perfume was very powdery, in the final notes, even dusty thanks to the base ingredients (orris, tonka and vanilla). I smell it now on my wrist, but the dustiness is not so oriental and so total as I remember it was. It's dusty warm in more wearable way.
The perfume became thinner.

It's a light scent like the rest of this collection. Powdery, even dusty, clean like a white sheet, with a red flower in its center, and it's not rose (I smell the rose very clearly, oily almost sultry, but here it plays another role for me), it is a red poppy, with subtle thin blossoms and dusty fragrance.

I smell several layers in this composition at the same time, a flower you are watching with admiration, everything around is unimportant and doen't exist. Such a visual association I have, and also I feel total silence in it.

What a great rose! Dark spicy with so lovely juicy note at the beginning! It's really delightful - to feel saffron (I feel a gourmand echo), peach (juicy freshness) and citrusy-floral orange flower. But at the very beginning there is spicy-cozy impression, strange and almost not floral.

The rose, which is so fragile, appears after a while, with pure lines and sensual character of white flowers. The rose appears with its sharpness and warmness, so beatiful and misterious rose.

I love this scent from the first sniff, it's about Jasmine, but very unusual jasmine, I haven't smell such creamy strange jasmine before. It's very exotic, watery fresh, clean, I smell lychee at the very beginning, so juicy exotic touch and magnolia. It's creamy, very radiant and sometimes oily (in big amounts it can cause a headache, but not in this perfume). Then I smell white flowers, so pure white and romantic. I feel freesia in it, and jasmine at least! I smell it purely only about 20 minutes after applying the perfume.

For me it's a sophisticated portrait not of the jasmine itself, but of its symbols, meanings and dreams.

Terra Incognita Jovoy Paris

This fragrance changes every time i apply it, so it's hard to describe it. First and second time I apply it, Terra Incognita was so deep oriental chypre with slightly sweet a bit powdery woody heart and base.

But this time it's opening like a sharp deep even metal chypre, so dark and sensual, I feel woods, but they are not sweet, very earthy, and I smell flowers through them.

I smelled the absolute of bamboo (many thanks:), it's so deep woody earthy patchouli-like (I have totally vision of it before), so it's based on big amount of it.

I like the perfume very much :-)

It is not 'simply pleasant' like modern men's fragrances, I've read that the composition was "inspired by the great fougere of 1980-tih".
It is musky-ambery, but the great portion of patchouly do not allow these velvety sweet and pleasant nuances to dominate the composition. The accord of patchouly, I feel it in the middle, makes it sharper and truly masculine. The violet leaf makes it radiant, fresher, sharper and elegant.
