Ahhh, smelling is happiness. & I love trying new scents. It's like the allure of meeting new people. You observe from far away and then come close to experience who they really are. Each perfume has a personality, and I love trying to find the best ones for me, the scents that I fall in love with!

At the moment, I'm most interested in gourmands! :p

omg, i am in loooove with this cologne, it smells soooooo good! the bottle is really ugly, but oh my god it makes my heart melt to smell this... like literally, my heart starts to do those little flips because it smells so good... it's unexpected too because the bottle is blue so you would expect something citrusy and sharp, quite to the contrary, however, this scent is warm and embracing, like falling asleep next to a fireplace, or hugging an old friend. i love it!

When I sprayed this on, I knew there was something about it that smelled strangely familiar.... It is strong and clear at the beginning... at the end of the day I finally figured it out. It smells exactly like Almond extract with a little bit of Vanilla extract. Not very complex, and nice enough, but not a "must-have" for me. Reminds me of those almond cookies that I loved eating when I was a kid! You know, they're yellow and baked, and have a tiny half almond on the top? If it was less "extract-like" (medicinally, like jeca said) and more almond cookie like, this would be a must-have for me. :) It's good, but I feel like it's missing that powdery dust-like crunch of a cookie that makes them so appetizing and attractive to me...

Also want to add that there is a tiny tiny tiny difference between the spray and the solid... They smell the same except that the spray is slightly slighty spicier/pepperier. The solid seems to be missing that spicy edge, just the sweetness.

I just got this in the solid perfume and a sample spray of the liquid, and it's quickly becoming my new favorite!!!!!! Wow! I'm not sure how to describe the scent, but what other reviewers have been saying are spot on! There's a lemony-ness, there's a warm slight caramel sweetness, and "hug me" type of quality about it. It also comes in a gorgeous gold compact! Wow, can't wait to use this up! :D So happy for my new find. :) Usually when fragrances get rave reviews I find that they don't live up to my expectations, in this case they exceed my expectations!

Cast A Spell Lulu Guinness

It smells berry-like and deep. Not at all earthy like I imagined, a dark forest would smell. It's quite intoxicating and strong, similar to Queen by Queen Latifah, or a much heavier version of Princess by Vera Wang. :) A fragrance that is also a bit masculine, mysterious, and enchanting. :)

Honey and the Moon Tokyo Milk Parfumarie Curiosite

Honey and the Moon is like a box of old memories that you open after many years. The opening burst of earthiness mixed with honey reminds me of a lazy afternoon spent in the brick room of my childhood home, laying on the green carpet and watching dust floating in the sunlight from a window. It stays like this for a long time and finally drys down to a gooey honey stick drizzle. On me, the honey is accurate and smells as if I have just opened a jar of honey from the local farm and slathered the honeycomb on my arm. I've never smelled Aquolina's Pink Sugar, but this isn't synthetic or generic smelling to me, but rather unique and not overly sweet or not sweet enough.

Just like the song it was named after, Honey and the Moon is crafted beautifully and full of reminiscent longing. I wouldn't want to wear this everyday, as I think that would probably take away from the charm of the experience being one that feels like rediscovering something, but would don this on days when I am missing my house, or the hot stickiness of the weather back at home in South Carolina, picnic baskets and stretching out on the grass in the park with bees buzzing around. Or when I am missing my college in the cold winter, making hot cups of tea and stirring the honey stick, while breathing in the hot steam, and sitting on the musty couch with the soft cushions. Finally the perfume ends on a soury note, a somewhat bittersweet finish that leaves only a slight trace of honey on your skin and me skeptical of whether of not I would actually wear it again.

In this way it reminds me of items from the CB I Hate Perfumes line. I've never smelled anything from them, but the concept is the same. To make perfumes that evoke certain feelings, or describe a certain event in your life, like Memory of Kindness or the one that was made about Ice Skating in the Park in 1960 something... Maybe that makes it less wearable, but I think perfumes like these are true masterpieces in terms of olfactory art and perfume.

This perfume smells delicious! I'm wearing it right now after spraying it on at a Perfumania store. The sweetness is not nauseating and is balanced well, like a caramel vanilla square candy, however, it isn't very distinguishable and reminds me of several other scents that I have had before, so I probably wouldn't spend the money to buy it.

This is a second review. The first time I tested the fragrance, I had just begun smelling different perfumes. Now that I've smelled many more, I realized how unique this fragrance really is. Although I'm still not a fan of Hilary Duff, I think that fragrances should be evaluated regardless of the face they put on them. And this scent is one that I still remember after having tested it once a year ago. It is rich and complex, and one of the most distinguishable smells I have tried. I am definitely getting a bottle next time these go on sale again!

yum! when i first sprayed this on my wrists, i thought it would be disgusting! the first spray smells sour and harsh to me, but once it settles into your skin, it smells sweet and woody to me and i like it. its simple and the smell stays the same throughout the course. i wasn't sure at first. in fact i was like this is going to be another overrated expensive perfume, but it turned out to be great!

this was surprisingly sweet and pleasant. juding from the bottle and the brand i didn't think this would be a perfume that i enjoyed. however, when i sniffed it, it turned out to be very sweet and very tropical. i could definitely smell the green apple in the top and the florals chosen blend well together. deli_s is right, this is probably better suited for young ladies... however it is marketed for mature ladies.... so that's also why i was hesitant to try it... definitely not what i expected, which was something muskier and more sophisticated. :)

From the reviews, I was expecting something very aquatic, fresh, and delightful. It was somewhat fresh, but not as fresh as many other fragrances I have smelled before, such as D'lssey. It's not that memorable or complex. The smell doesn't linger. Another one of those events where I'm glad I "tried" before I "buyed," lol. :p

I just got this in the mail, and it does not disappoint. Sweet and succulent, this is a beautifully made scent that I wish was still being produced! I was only able to find the mini bottle online that was about .23 oz. If there was a full size bottle I would go for it! :) It's light enough for everyday wear to work or to class, not completey fruity, so it's mature and useable for any age. Get a bottle, you won't be disappointed! (hehe, i almost don't want to give this perfume such a good review! that way there will be more left in the world for me! :p)

I don't like the original Pleasures, so I didn't really want to give this fragrance a chance. However, after reading the reviews on here I decided to and am so glad I did! It is nothing like the original Pleasures, this scent is sweet, warm, and alluring. It smells like you're walking through a strawberry patch in the summer. As it drys down, I can imagine myself coming out of the patch to sit down on a checkered tablecloth and have a picnic with caramels. yum what a delicious scent! long lasting as well!

Desperate Housewives Forbidden Fruit Coty

... Someone misnamed this perfume because the floral scent was so overbearing that I could not understand why the word "fruit" was anywhere in the title. I was very disappointed by this because I thought a perfume titled "forbidden fruit" would smell delicious, irresistible, and unique. However, I didn't smell peach or apple in the top notes, instead I got this really strong bouquet of flowers, like dried popouri flowers that you can get from the drugstore. Would not purchase this. :(

I like this! From the reviews I had gathered that this would be a very interesting scent, today I went shopping at a big mall and surprisingly was able to find several stores where even the most obscure fragrances could be found! This was one I tested and it smelled like wet autumn leaves to me, and that's what I was expecting. :) I would wear this in the autumn. :)

P.S. Although I give this a good review, I don't think it's something everyone would enjoy... it's not typical. That's all. :)

I have this and after testing it I don't think I like it very much... it's too spicy on me. If I kept it, it's definitely not something I'd wear everyday. Probably for special occasions. Actually I don't even know when I would wear this... :( I wish the mangosteem came out a little bit more, it's one of my favorite fruits...

I think the idea of this is lovely, but the citrus smells are way too strong. They almost cover up the peach, which you have to really pay attention to find. I just got this yesterday and I'm hoping it grows on me more. I love the idea of a peach fragrance, but it should be stronger. Anyone know of any strongly peach perfumes?

I like it. It's a lot more subtle than I thought but it matches baby phat. : There's definitely a "golden"-ness about this perfume that makes it lovely and sophisticated! It's a "Kimora" perfume for sure. Not sure that it's right for everyone though. Also, it lasts an okay amount of time, but you can feel it wear off. As it wears off I think it gets nicer because it's not as harsh.
