I love perfume. I was raised on the classics and can remember gazing at my mother's and grandmother's vanities and falling in love with all the beautiful bottles and colors of their perfumes. Of course I tried it all and that is what launched my curiosity and nose for scents.

I wear perfume all the time. I wake up thinking about what I'm in the mood to wear every day - I mull it over while I'm getting ready for work. I buy a lot of samples first, and then narrow down my choices. Sometimes I just get OCD and blind buy something after I research it to death. I've only had a couple of mistakes.

I really love italian perfumes and am trying to sample and find a few that I really like. Lately I am smitten with Omnia Profumo's line. I also really like niche houses because their offerings are unique and they seem take a few more creative risks. That said, there are a few celeb scents that I really like too, so I guess my tastes are wide and varied.

I love Fragrantica because it unites people from all over the world who all share a passion for scent!
