When I was a young girl, I received a Perfume Pretty Barbie as a gift. I had little interest in her ~ or any dolls for that matter ~ but I adored the tiny bottle of perfume that accompanied her in the box

I'm all grown up now, but I like the youthfulness of single notes, fresh summery blends and edible foodie scents

I typically avoid fussy, overly complex scents ... I find them suffocating and matronly. Anything heavy with spice, woodiness, patchouli and musk also gets a thumbs down
