7:15 AM in Bali is time and place of fragrant journey by the house of Kenzo, which takes us to the very heart of exotic places this year: a divine island, where even palms, sea and exotic flowers enjoy spending time. Location: Indonesian archipelagos – tropical and passionate Bali!
Bali is one of the islands of Indonesian archipelagos, situated at its west side, with sunset. It longs for the island of Java, where sun is born near the island of Lombok. The island has dominant population of Autronesians, who are a mixture of peoples from Philippines, Oceania and South Asia. They celebrate and develop art, dance, sculptures, painting, leather work and inevitable music creation as a way of expressing themselves.
Inhabitants of Bali are Malayans. Spoken languages are Balinese (Malayan-Polynesian) and Bahasa (Riau version of Malayan). Besides these two languages, English is also present, since tourism has been the most popular branch of industry for the last few years.
The culture of these people was influenced by peoples of China and India, together with Hindu language and tradition, from the first century A.D. Islam penetrated the island in the 15th century, but the dominant religion remained Brahmanism, a religion consisted of 4 castes (Sudras, Wesias, Satrias, Brahmans).
The first contact with Europeans happened in 1597, when a Dutch explorer, Cornelis de Houtman sailed to the archipelagos by a Portuguese ship. Later, in the 19th ct., expansion of Dutch colonial control took over the greatest part of the Indian archipelagos. Inhabitants of Bali and surrounding islands fought back and tried to win integrity of their country by fierce fights for years. Bali was under Japanese rule during the WW2. Independence did not come before the end of the war, when the Netherlands acknowledged independence of Bali, and the island joined Indonesian block as one of provinces of Indonesia.

The culture of these people is inexhaustible, just like beauty of landscape. The island is surrounded by coral reefs, as if nature gave precious jewelry to honour beauty of Bali. Beaches are sandy and very special. The islands on the south are made of tiny, light, whitish-gold sand, while sandy beaches on the west have unusual black colour. A unique beach on the northeast stretching along the city of Padangbai is composed of both kinds of sand.
Bali possesses almost everything: mountain peaks, lush flora, tropic forests, fast rivers, juicy fruit...Islanders cultivate rice, coconut palms, tobacco, coffee Arabica, they hunt and feed mostly on fish. Their artistic expression is shown through special materials Batik and Ikat, kinds of weaving, while giving shape to wood, stone and silver.
One of tourist attractions with great cultural and historical value is temple named Pura Tanah Lot, situated on a special rock formation. As if it were from another world, the temple is placed on the coasts of Bali, 20 kilometers from the city of Denpasar (capital of the province) and its name means „Land in the middle of the sea".
Curves of this rocky temple have been shaped by waves incessantly for ages and chiseled into a masterpiece. This temple is one of the most important cultural-mythological-historical edifices on the island. A snake was chiseled on the very bottom guarding the temple from enemies and evil spirits. The temple almost crumbled down in 1980, but was successfully restored with help of Japanese loan.
Another interesting temple situated in Besakih village, on the slopes of mountain Agung, is Pura Besakih. The Sanskrit name of this sacred place means salvation. That is the main and the most important temple of all islands – „mother of all temples", which preaches Hinduism (Agama Hindu Dharma), religion of the majority of Indonesian population. Magnificent and breath-taking temple is not only of religious importance, but is famous for its beauty and is perfectly nested in the exotic paradise of Bali.

Bali can give you numerous stories; there are so many impressions, since it is a mixture of natural beauties, climate, culture and art. It does not surprise that creators of the house of Kenzo were breathless and swept away by gorgeous scenes and decided to dedicate one of their latest issues to this island.
7:15 AM in Bali is a perfume dedicated to all who possess adventurous spirit, who long for connection of natural and fragrant impression of nature. This is the first perfume from the collection of journeys which will add new aromas and adventures through new editions. The perfume 7:15 AM in Bali represents morning on this island, while day is waking up and nature is flourishing in the fresh air while sun is rising.
This gourmet and profoundly sensual fragrance opens with notes of sparkling grapefruit, which tingles your nose just like sun rays are touching your skin with passion fruit reminding us of this exotic paradise. The heart is pleasantly housing Sambac jasmine, which was given a special name by islanders – Gods of Bali's Flower! Its delicate aromas intertwine with orchid aromas, offering a floral, exotic bouquet.
We are ready for new surprises while waiting for the base notes. Vanilla which wraps your aura waits for its moment to appear and to wrap you with passionate experience of its warm aromas and capture you with adventurous and exotic spirit of Bali.
The perfume arrives in a bottle decorated with colours of sunrise, light orange iridescent nuances, and remind us of awakening of nature, with a photograph painted on the outside package. This exotic creation is a work of designer Marina Crespin, and is available as a limited 50 ml EDP edition. Creator of the fragrance is perfumer Daphne Bugey.

I recommend watching a video of beauty and culture of Bali, video Bali Forever, as well as slides about this exotic paradise.
