The house of Ajmal Perfumes has offered magic of the Orient and oriental composition woven in sophisticated rhythm of the West along with a successful mixture of selected ingredient for both sexes for 5 decades. The beginning of Ajmal Perfumes is connected with Arabic world's fascination with India during the 40es and 50 of the 20th century.
Founder of this luxury company, Ajman Ali, agriculturer in profession, set a goal of his work. In Assam, city known as source of Agarwood, one of the main ingredients of oriental perfumery, he started to mix perfume compositions and became a successful vendor of fragrant oils.
His success in work increased significantly with time and he expanded a network of sales all round the Middle East.
Ajmal Ali opened his first shop in 1976 in Dubai, and today he has a network and developed cooperation with companies with over 100 exclusive sales locations in the Middle East.
Ajmal introduced his perfume Mukhallat in 1978. Its great success encouraged him to work more and to present new fragrant creations.
The year of 1979 was important for the Ajmal brand, since he started an Agarwood forestation program in Assan. The program has included over 160 000 trees up till today, while perfecting production process and ensuring constant supply of the highest quality Oud during previous years. The year of 1987 was of great relevance since Dahn-Al-Oudh Eau de Perfume was launched and a manufacture worth million US dollar was started.

Expansion of sales and perfume production reached Kuwait in 1991, where another store was opened, while an exclusive showroom was opened in Oman in 1992.
Ajman Ali is a real visioner and businessman, who understands Western tendencies and technology and includes valuable ideas in his business. He is the first perfume producer in the Arabic world who had his own online sale. Besides the online offer, Al Faisaliya Tower was presented in 2000 in Dubai. It is a company owning 50 exclusive brands from the Middle East.

Ajmal by Ajmal was introduced in 2001, as a perfume which celebrated the 50th anniversary of the perfumery. The company entered the Guiness Book of Records for designing and making the biggest incense burner in the world. In his Al Faisaliya Tower, Ajmal opened a luxury store with perfumes, limited editions of delicate and exclusive compositions available in beautiful flacons made of Murano glass.
Products by the house of Ajmal Ali seize the market more and more, and they become available in numerous duty free shops and specialized stores in Kuwait, Iran, Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Cairo, Bulgaria, Egypt, Maldives, Russia (since 2005), Syria, Great Britain, Pakistan, Turkey, Yemen…They celebrated the 100th 'conquered' market where they offer their products in 2007.

It is also interesting that the nose behind creations by the house of Ajmal, Nazir Ajmal, is also chief of project and main perfumer. He was born in Nazir and is the youngest son to Ajmal Ali. After having studied perfumery in India and moving to Dubai, focus of Nazir Ajmal's creation is on oriental compositions made of natural and synthetic ingredients. In order to progress in his job, he worked with French perfumers, creating oriental perfumes with a sophisticated and modern turn. You can feel a fusion of ingredients from East and West, with a clear feeling of the oriental.
New fragrances of opulent collection of Ajmal Perfumes which were introduced in 2008 are Dahn Al Oudh Lujain, Vice, fragrant pair Facets of Him and Facets of Her, Shadow and Dahn Al Oudh Nudra.

Facets of Him and Facets of Her make the new fragrant pair which suggests modern rhythm of life, adventures and strong personality and character. She is independent and powerful, while he is stable and strong. The creation for women is based on gardenia and jasmine, with accords of cedar and intoxicating vanilla, which contributes to powdery charm. It is floral green in the beginning, with clear jasmine heart and woody, vanilla, powdery base. The bohemic composition for men is composed of fresh, spicy accords of pineapple leaves, cardamom and violet leaf, introducing us into a floral heart mixed with woody notes. Base notes introduce cedar, sandalwood and a hint of balmy notes. The edition for women is available as 60 ml EDP, whereas the masculine version is found as 100 ml EDP.

A unisex composition which belongs to collection Dahn Al Oudh, a 2008 edition, cheerful and seductive, created to enrich and cheer up everyone who chooses it is Dahn Al Oudh Lujain.
