Legendary masculine edition by the house of Dior, Eau Sauvage, will be refreshed with a new advertising campaign featuring world famous Alain Delon this year! After Zinedine Zidane and Corto Maltese, Eau Sauvage will present its lemon-like, woody notes with an advertising campaign, for which Alain Delona's photograph from 1966 was chosen (the year when the perfume was launched).
Eau Sauvage by Dior was introduced in the sixties and created by perfumer Edmond Roudnitska, who made the perfume legendary and characteristic for its fresh, citrusy notes, composed with spicy lavender on a masculine, woody base.
The fragrance incorporates the following accords: lemon, basil, bergamot, cumin, lavender and fruit. A heart blooms with jasmine, rose, carnation, iris root, coriander, patchouli and sandalwood. Base notes bring us oak moss, vetiver, musk and amber.
After this edition, two further versions followed: Eau Sauvage Extreme from 1982, Eau Sauvage Vaporisateur Prestige from 2004 and Eau Sauvage Fraicheur Cuir from 2007.
