Alexa Lixfeld 001,002,003

"I produce culture" stated Alexa Lixfeld, who has recently introduced her collection which encompasses three unusual fragrances - 001, 002, and 003. The flacons hiding these fragrances are made of transparent glass, while their caps are made of concrete coloured in various nuances of grey.

 “I produce culture,” says Alexa Lixfeld. Cross-culture would be better. Whether it’s a project in which she tries to use concrete as an alternative for ceramics in household products, a perfume, food-design, an eat-art performance in which the participants ladle soup from a plate with a 1.4 meter diameter, or a socio-economic development foundation she set up in Sri Lanka, to help children and women— she often seems to go for a challenge that others think impossible. In Creacete™ she combined her pioneering experiments with concrete in the field of tableware with the ultimate in finishing, the traditional Japanese urushi lacquering technique from Wajima, while leaving the contrast open and visible. After a ten-year career as a model, Alexa Lixfeld studied at Köln International School of Design, University of Applied Arts Pforzheim and Design Academy Eindhoven, the Netherlands. She works in Hamburg since 2006, running her own studio. - Max Borka.

001 is an elegant and wearable fragrance which combines elements of white flowers such as jasmine and lily of the valley with herbal notes and refreshing white tea. The fragrance includes a special base created of musk, giving unique stamp and character to this edition.

002 is a unique, natural fragrance which evokes fresh air intertwining with sandalwood. Precious woody notes from east India, cedar, patchouli and vetiver blend with balmy nuances of fir tree, tonka, vanilla and benzoin. Refreshing notes are represented by carrot seed and jasmine.

003 is an exotic-fresh fougere, which combines bergamot and rosemary aromas resting on a strong and stable heart created of patchouli and pepper. A base finishes with cinnamon mixed with soft vanilla veil.
