Armani Ginza Tower, Flagship Store in Japan

Armani Ginza Tower, Flagship Store in Japan

12/09/07 03:46:34
On November 6, 2007, Giorgio Armani opened his latest megastore – Armani Ginza Tower in Tokyo, Japan. Armani Ginza Tower, a 20 million dollar project, with its 6.000 m2 on 12 floors is Armani's biggest shop and the highest building in the popular shopping district Ginza.

The designers of this building, architects Massimiliano and Doriana Fuksas, were following the style and image that Armani is building for years, adding a dose of modern to the Armani style luxury and strict elegance. The building is bright and shiny and perfectly matches the spirit of oriental metropolis which is full of life and motion, continuously transforming in line with the needs of its citizens.

The designers fully considered Armani style, materials, colors, textures, cuts, and with full cooperation with the famous Armani, the building entirely presents the creator's fashion style.

The building exterior is made of glass which reflects the surrounding buildings and the sky. The bamboo motif decorates the façade of the first three floors and together with the gilt metal frame it presents the main motif of the both exterior and interior. The restaurant space is decorated with gilt metal in form of mesh that is shaping the seats and with the gilt metal and transparent plexiglass display units on the walls.

The departments are placed in separate floors – a floor for men's collections, women's collections, accessories, and the entire floor for the showroom. Exclusive services of the Armani Ginza Tower are the restaurant on the 10th floor, spa on the 5th floor and Armani Casa interior design studio on the 4th.

Besides the comfort and beauty, the restaurant offers original Italian cuisine, while the Armani Spa is an oasis in which one can find harmony and peace away from the dynamic and fast modern lifestyle.

The Armani Ginza Tower opening event , among other guests, attended American singer Fergie and actress Devon Aoki. The opening event, which took place on November 7, 2007, included a fashion show of Armani's spring-summer 2008 collection.
