Perfumed Horoscope: 30 August to 05 September

Mercury is retrograde for the second time this year until Sept. 12, and will play (mind) games with you again. Make sure to remember that most health related alarms are false, and that circles can have corners too. On the other hand, try fragrances you weren’t sure about, and you will know much better if you like them or not. This week we wonder what classic movies could make a good perfume names. Some movies don’t lend themselves, like “Gone with the Wind”, but other movie names like “Trouble in Paradise” sound pretty inviting on a perfume bottle.

Aries
You need to resist the hypochondriac tendencies this week. You didn’t get suddenly old, the stuff that messes up your schedule is of cosmic orgins, and it will pass by Sept 12. It’s hard to keep you predictable this week - your home base keeps attracting you and throwing you far away. It still amazingly works with your efforts to upgrade your relationship. If you considered adopting a pet, this is good week to do it. Aries Charlie Chaplin’s movie title “Limelight” lends itself wonderfully to a perfume name, unlike “The Tramp”.

Also, by the weekend you will add stuff to your home making it more cozy and comfy. I considered for a second “Raging Bull” as a perfume name, but decided that “Gallipoli” would be a great name for a Taurus perfume.

Keep your keys, your valet and cell phone in clearly assigned places, because chances are they will slip into a different dimension. Don’t let you home become your black hole. You have two weeks to complete your public project and get it going. If you ask your love interest to get involved, you will be surprised by her/his enthusiasm. You are on the right path, lift your spirits. For you there should be ”Some Like It Hot” Perfume with Gemini MM.

If something is not clear, don’t walk away from it. When you go to the post office, double check the stamps, the addresses, pay those pennies for the insurance. Important emails send twice. Don’t get upset with your brother and your sister, and no, they are not becoming senile yet. You are halfway there to modify your living space. If you are still bumping into things at home, why not consult Feng Shui? A great perfume for Cancers should be named after the movie Casablanca. (Casablanca Perfume already exists but it’s dedicated to the Casablanca Lily.)

If you have already lost some dear object of value, collect everything else and place it in a safe place (and I don’t mean a safe place so secretive that you will forget where it was). The influence of stuff slipping between dimensions will continue until September 12. At this point you are eager to expand your business and all the support is there, except for sound and accurate communication. Keep double checking that everything is clearly understood, especially concerning more substantial purchases. Movies “The Haunting” and “Spellbound” by Leo A. Hitchcock would be great names for a perfume, “Psycho” not so.

You may ask yourself during this week: “What is exactly the force holding me back, is it a ghost? Am I cursed?” Just laugh it off. Accept miscommunication and misinformation without any further thoughts.  Don’t stress it, since you are plugged into a cosmic revitalization circuit. You are investing also in the devices which will make you do your work faster. It's great time to buy a new mattress, or furnish your work space more functionally. Movie Memento could be also a great Perfume name that all Virgos should possess. (Blue Velvet already exists but I’m not sure if this “blend of rose, apple, musk and jasmine” reaches the emotional depth and width of the movie and the song.)

The energies that bring you Love and determination keep you busy, and you should be happy to wake up to each new exciting day, and not miss a single opportunity. On the weekend, your friends are very insightful. “Babette Goes to War” would make a funky perfume title. It’s a movie with Libra beauty Brigitte Bardot, who already has perfume after her name by Tocca (with rhubarb, papaya, ginger, iris, Moroccan rose, saffron, sandalwood and musk).

Don’t look to deepen any ideological differences yet. “Sunset Boulevard” is a movie by Billy Wilder, but also a unisex perfume by Gale Hayman, with orange, honey and white flowers. It could carry still acceptable sweetness for a Capricorn.

Where is the perfume called “Trouble in Paradise”? In the movie with the same name a wealthy, female owner (Francis) of a perfume business falls in love... This is the intro in the actual movie:
