The master perfumer behind P.S. I Love You combined velvet rose and pink peony with golden amber and exotic incense to create a fragrance that evokes pure love. For this project, Symrise perfumer Dave Apel chose to take a more sophisticated approach to rose and explore its mystery, sensuality and intoxicating characteristics. “P.S. I Love You builds a sensual, amber warmth on a canvas of black roses as sparkling fruits and watery lychee lend the fragrance a youthful quality,” Apel explains. “The fragrance takes the vintage appeal of a classic rose and surrounds it with exuberant freshness for a totally modern experience.”

The Firmenich master perfumers behind Twilight Woods combined lush, dewy fruits with elegant, exotic woods to create an alluring, secretive scent. Perfumer Harry Fremont experimented with the scents of sustainable hardwoods, while Jane Konnyu added a layer of musk to build texture and body with a soft, feminine feel.

When Honorine Blanc smelled the silk-woody combination, she craved the effect of a delicious, addictive top note, explaining, “When I added a juicy cocktail of sparkling fruits and creamy white flowers, I found I just couldn’t stop smelling it.” Twilight Woods captures the dreams and efforts of these three Firmenich masters, combining Harry’s bold use of new ingredients, Jane’s focus on femininity and softness, and Honorine’s playful modernity.
