Heat is the first fragrance by attractive and talented Beyonce and it arrives on the market in February 2010. Name of the fragrance was inspired by Beyonce's tour and performances. Colour of flacon and liquid was chosen after Beyonce's favourite colour – red, with a wish to look like fire with antique details.
Beyonce's temperament was depicted through the whole concept of the fragrance, from name and design to composition created in cooperation with perfumers of the house of Givaudan - Claude Dir and Olivier Gillotin. Top notes of Heat are decorated with red vanilla-orchid, magnolia, neroli and peach. A passionate heart offers honeysuckle, almond and musky cream, while a base finishes with sequoia wood, tonka and amber.

Even though Beyonce is advertising face of perfumes Diamonds Armani and True Star Tommy Hilfiger, she says that her first fragrance, Heat, represents herself. Her wish is that her first fragrance stands for everything that makes her and that she is content with the final product, without worrying about deadlines of work on the perfume. "This is my first fragrance and I want to be sure that I will love it forever! " - stated Beyonce for WWD.

Fragrance Heat was created in an antique glass flacon, just like Beyonce wanted. She coloured it in red nuances which remind of flames transforming into burning orange. Fiery and sexy, just like her, the flacon is decorated with a discrete gold detail on neck of the flacon with engraved name of the fragrance. Assortment of Heat perfume includes 30, 50 and 100ml EDT, along with a 200 ml golden lotion.
Advertising campaign was made by photographer Michael Thompson, while video commercial was directed by Jake Nava. Face of the advertising campaign is Beyonce Knowles, of course. I think, if it is true that Beyonce herself is allergic to a fragrance, it is hilarious to launch her own celebrity fragrance at the first place.
I would imagine she might come up with explanation that "HEAT" is the first hypoallergenic fragrance and this will be a real hit to allergy sufferer, IMHO. lol This would be a great breakthrough or even a phenomenon.
I think the bottle is similar to "Deep Red by Hugo Boss", IMHO.
What do you guys think? :)
Cheers,
It's all about making money. I read that Sarah Jessica Parker made more than 20 million US Dollars for her perfume deals.
All Beyonce is doing is trying to make money.
The problem I hate with these so called celebrity perfumes is that its not about creating art.
It's all about creating a slick marketing scheme.
The perfume is secondary.
IMHO this woman is as fake as they come.
She would sell her bowel movements if it brought in money.
APassionateJourney, I never said I was mad that Beyonce had a website. I just said I couldn't belive it. Sorry for the misunderstanding.
That Beyonce allergic to perfume rumor has been going on forever. Nobody can seem to produce a direct quote, though.
Funny that Beyoncé seems to like promoting fragrances when it is known she is allergic to them ...
Mad because Beyonce has a website??? You should be happy people want to promote their product. COTY does a great job of promoting their scents. All of their perfumes and colognes get websites and commercials. Wow. Just, wow.
Oh, this picture is bad and nasty. I don´t like it. Also this bottle: It reminds me a little bit of Naomi Campbell´s "Seductive Elixir". Looks cheap.
I'm not so sure about this fragrance. I like Beyonce, but the bottle looks kind of tacky and is not something I would most likely place on my dresser. I guess I should try it before I doubt it, but it is kind of coming across as a spicy scent to me and I'm not a big fan of spicy scents.I also can not believe she has her own website for that perfume. I can think of way more popular perfumes that don't even have their own websites, like aquolina pink sugar. Well, I'm quite curious to see how this smells.
ummm... maybe, the fragrance could be nice :)... but the bottle and promotion its horrid.
Its a bad taste thing... What happens Beyonce?
The bottle reminds me of a miss sixty fragrance..
i am sorry but i refuse to buy a Beyonce perfume. LOL!!! some of the notes look nice but I have never been a fan of honeysuckle anyway.
the bottle is ugly ...i don t know but after i saw this bottle i am not interested to smell this perfume
Disgustic smell.
The bottle looks very similar to Seductive Elixir by Naomi Campbell.
i knew she'd have a fragrance one day like all the other celebs. i like the bottle and would like to try it. i think its going to be a oriental spicy scent.
To me, the bottle is just awful, sorry.
I like the bottle and the colour.. may be i should try it one day
Oooh very excited. I was wondering when she was going to make one! I will be hunting this one down when it's released.
:)
i do love the bottle as well!
niiiiiiiiiceee !!!!!! i looooooooooooove beyonce and im sure this will be smashing :)))) the notes look sooooooooo goooooooood ! the perfume is hot already !
