Bill Blass Couture Collection - Couture 1, Couture 3, Couture 6 and Couture 7

The company Bill Blass together with license company First American Brands Inc, created Couture fragrant collection inspired by design, creations and fabrics of Blass dresses. It is interesting that motifs on the bottles are the same as those on fabrics used to create luxurious dresses, including yellow, grey, red and blue motifs of the collections for spring, autumn and resort 2008.

This luxury collection will be sold exclusively in Saks Fifth Avenue from September 2008, and will be available worldwide from February 2009, which ensures the right on the exclusive offer to Saks Fifth Avenue.

The first four fragrances of the collection were named Couture 1, Couture 3, Couture 6 and Couture 7. All of them were created in close cooperation with Prabal Gurung, woman designer of the brand Bill Blass.

Couture 1 includes aromas of tuberose, mandarin, peach and orange blossom. It was created by Pierre-Constantin Gueros, and the bottle is decorated with black and white motifs with discrete, charming yellow roses.

Couture 3 was created by Valerie Garnuch, and it introduces a warm wave of sandalwood with bergamot blossom, apple blossom, cardamom and ginger. The bottle is decorated with grey motifs of feathers and beads of an evening dress from the collection spring 2008.

Couture 6 was created by Pierre-Constantin Gueros, who enriched it with rose, apple blossom, black currant and patchouli. The bottle of this edition carries red, white and pink floral motifs of a day dress which belongs to the collection autumn 2008.

     
Couture 7 was created by perfumer Delphine Jelk, and it delights us with aromas of bitter orange, cedrat, pink pomello, French tarragon and orange blossom. The bottle feature bead motifs from a dress from the collection resort 2008.

All four editions are available as 75 ml EDP for $150, with a retro atomizer as another decoration on the gorgeous bottles. These are made of glass and transparent from one side. The other two sides feature carved motifs which can be found on the brand's older editions.
