Black, Gold and Lace – What is your Choice?

Perfume bottles are an inevitable companion to fragrant ingredients. They are graceful, simple, futuristic, retro, fairytale-esque, silly, luxurious, unique. . .  They are, just like fragrant compositions, shaped creatively in an inventive-technological sense, made of new materials, with both old and new methods and certainly in new, progressive designs. A new bottle is supposed to tell the story of the composition it accompanies. When looking at editions from previous years, their design follows a certain trend of season. I notice that several elegant black editions, discretely decorated with gold details have been placed on the market this autumn. Glamorous gold bottles are also popular, as well as those with lace motifs, which are especially feminine and seductive.

Black bottles are mysterious and very attractive, as if they were hiding a secret, seductive elixir which captures a unique, dark and mysterious potion.

Some of the most interesting editions are this year's Bvlgari Jasmin Noir inspired by jasmine, which is also popular among 2008 editions; Narciso Rodriguez for Her as well as its masculine companion Narciso Rodriguez for Him, limited edition Marc Jacobs Daisy Black Edition, popular editions such as Armani Code, Calvin Klein MAN, Creed Love in Black, Lalique Encre Noir, Givenchy Play Intense, La Perla J'Aime La Nuit, Sisley Eau de Soir 2008 and many others.

Niche house of By Kilian presents all their perfumes in black bottles, and a big part of the luxurious Prive collection by Giorgio Armani is also available in black flacons, decorated with semi-precious gem stoppers.


 

The color of gold gives you a feeling of glamour, luxury, wealth, opulence and power. Gold has attracted with its glow and value since ancient times, so gold-colored flacons are accompanied with a story in luxury compositions which provide opulent and seductive notes nobody can resist. They glitter and really attract attention on perfumery shelves. And not just that: the gold color decorates them, presents them and shapes the bottle in a glamorous way.

Lace always fascinates, attracts attention, seduces. Even the smallest lace details on simple clothes or accessories will attract attention. Hidden lace details are even more exciting.
