Blue Sugar was created after the very successful Pink Sugar in 2006, and continues the sweet Aquolina tradition. Caramel and cotton candy in a fragrance for men is a daring move form designer's side. Caramel and honey can be found in A*Men by Thierry Mugler, praline and liquorice in Lolita Lempicka Au Masculin, while sweet vanilla in Gualtier 2, a unisex fragrance.

Blue Sugar has joined the sweet family, but has kept its uniqueness in comparison with the above mentioned fragrances, as it has a youthful spirit. The sweetness of caramel and sugar is disguised with the fresh citrusy notes, and anise, spices and liquorice sound elegantly masculine. Intensive notes of patchouli, cedar wood and resin dominate at the end and bring in a darker, woodsy and more classical nuance.
