By Kilian is presenting a collection of 5 fragrances inspired by Arabia and created of top quality essential oils which symbolize values of the East: Agar (Oud), rose, incense, amber and musk. Collection ARABIAN NIGHTS is the creator's invitation to discover olfactive charm of the Middle East.

The first two fragrances introduced to the market:
Pure Oud from 2009 and
Rose Oud from 2010.

Pure Oud is the first fragrance of the collection and it has been presented on Fragrantica recently. The most prominent ingredient around which the whole composition is built is precious wood agar – oud originating from Southeastern Asia. Its aromas bring complexity along with a warm, strong and animalistic trail. Oud is valued more than pure gold in many countries of the Middle East, so Kilian created a fragrance to honor this ingredient. Its flacon features a golden plate with engraved named of the fragrance.

Composition of Pure Oud was created in cooperation with perfumer Calice Becker, but not as plain scent of oud oil in its original form, but with harmonically mixed notes of contemporary composition, which suggests opulence and preciousness of this ingredient. This fragrance intertwines accords of oud oil with cypriol oil, Guaiac wood oil, copahu balm and saffron oil.

The second fragrance, Rose Oud is available on Lucky Scent and can be pre-ordered if you want to have it among the first customers in the world. It can be expected on the market end of February 2010. Rose Oud was created in cooperation with Calice Becker of such notes as rose, oud, saffron and Guaiac wood. The fragrance is available as 50ml EDP, and its flacon is, just like in Pure Oud, decorated with a golden plate and with characteristic engravings. Price of this edition is $395.
