C16 Indult – Wide Range of Musk Aromas

The house of Indult has presented three perfumes so far. These are exclusive, opulent and composed of selected ingredients. They were named Isvaraya, Tihota and Manakara and all three were produced in limited number – 999 pieces. The fourth fragrance of the house arrived on the market in March 2008 and it was created for French Colette exclusively and named C16.

C16 is a limited edition produced in 213 pieces, which is a symbolic, given that Colette is situated at 213 Rue St Honoré in Paris.

C in the name is the mark for carbon, while C16 stands for the number of atoms of carbon in molecule which lies in the heart of this unusual fragrance. These 16 atoms of carbon make the base molecule named Ambretone, which was invented and patented by the house of Takasago. Ambretone has characteristic and intensive musk aromas.

C16 was created by perfumer Francis Kurkdjian, who worked on the notes inspired by Tonka musk. Its formula is complete if it contains musk aromas. Faces of the perfume are various in nuances of different musk trails they introduce. Warm, soft, sensual, almost humane and they smell like warmed human parts of the body, neck and skin.

This perfume was not composed as a classic olfactive pyramid. It contains several nuances of musk and it seems childish, sensual, animalistic, sexual and fresh on the skin. From wild, animalistic musk version to gentle and tamed, each skin will react differently in combination with this unusual edition.

The perfume is available only at Colette.fr.
