Colors of Autumn: Ginger

The movie was interrupted by a boring commercial, which I have remembered for a long time. A red-headed girl advertised who-knows-which hair care product. My grandpa was thrilled when he passed through the room and said: 'Everybody will notice this fire-hair girl!' I have been watching that color ever since then, in order to get it for myself, but the ginger color does not go without that special ginger mood. You must be ginger inside so that you will not spoil the experience of that joyful flame outside. A ginger head is endlessly charming, special and cheerful, since we learnt on the example of clowns from our childhood that freckles go only with a smile. Ginger color is positive and it exhilarates us subconsciously, which is familiar to Eastern people. Autumn is also ginger, especially in our region, where oak and beech grow.

Airy, ginger autumn in its Indian summer, carefree, without bitterness or exaggerated juiciness, cheerful and spontaneous, light as spider webs carried by wind, was literally poured inside the bottle of the perfume Rousse (Ginger) by Serge Lutens.  This perfume inspired by grandma's cakes does not seem gourmand at all, but it might cheer us up in the same way.

Cinnamon, the main ingredient, is is not weighted by other spices and is framed with flowers which monitor subordination carefully, dry and bright as a sunny autumn day. Rousse, an unusually light fragrance by Lutens, can just improve your mood, like when you see a ginger boy or girl: the face with freckles, golden eyelashes, spite and awkwardness.  Charming for me, but uneasy for the child, when he(she) realizes I am staring at him just because he is a ginger head.
