Designer Diane von Furstenberg launches Love Diane in September 2012, a flanker of the original fragrance Diane from 2011, which was followed by Diane Eau de Toilette and Sunny Diane versions.

The latest release—Love Diane—is a sparkling homage to this fashion brand. It is conceived as a sexy and seductive fragrance made from vivid, radiant and very sweet flavors.

It contains notes of red currant and apricot juice on top, blending with feminine jasmine flowers in the heart. All this is wrapped in the sweetness of praline and licorice.

Top notes: red currant, apricot
Heart: jasmine
Base: licorice, pralines

The fragrance is available as 30, 50 and 100 ml Eau de Parfum.

Smelled it today... What a ridiculous and pitiful flanker! This new fragrance has nothing to do with the original (Diane from Diane von Furstenberg). Instead of "Love Diane", it should have been named: Lolita Lempicka Au Masculin Bis... Although I tolerate this perfume on a man, I hate to smell it on me.

I can see that "very sweet flavours" might be "vivid and radiant" and be pleasant but am I alone in that I don't see how those elements = "sexy"?
Is that why I fail to see the attraction in so many of the current fragrances?

This sounds like a Gourmand....I thought I read once that DVF didn't care for fruit or foods in fragrance and only liked using more traditional floral..woods and spice notes? Anyhow I'm going to have to seek this one out...sounds nice!

Each time I read there's licorice in a fragrance's composition in my mind "Lolita Lempicka" pops up.. but in this case the accords seem quite different from that masterpiece, apricot juice is enough to make me want to try this EDP.
