Dior is presenting new composition, Hypnotic Poison Eau Sensuelle, which gives a whole new magic of aromas. This extraordinary perfume hides precious nectar the dark side of which is familiar only to its perfumer.
Its flacon announces an attractive and seductive composition which will not be completely revealed. The first edition of Hypnotic Poison is built around sensual and lush aromas of Sambac jasmine, sweet heliotrope, bitter almond, cumin, as well as fascinating and very special vanilla.
Sweet and gentle vanilla takes us back to beautiful childhood memories, but is at the same time a true volcano of passion which triggers a storm of feelings.
Perfumer of Dior - Francois Demachy went back to base of botanic original of vanilla, and exchanged the original version by a new, more floral edition of Hypnotic Poison Eau Sensuelle.
"Hypnotic Poison Eau Sensuelle overcomes boundaries between five senses and leans on exploring relation between sight, smell and taste..." - Francois Demachy.
The new flacon presents a completely new approach to Dior's poisons with transparent ruby red glass which stands for a light and sophisticated beauty who enchants with her powers. This beautiful flacon hides mysterious nectar.
Just like a lover who reveals secrets of the woman who is in his heart, Francois Demachy is in merciless search for harmony inspired by nature and exploration. He believes that vanilla orchid is the most sensual of all. Colourful and elegant floral petals have 1001 faces of eternal femininity.
Velvety soft petals of vanilla orchid surrounded with fruity aromas revive the scent of vanilla and add a lively frame which is not complete without Damascus rose. Instead of Sambac jasmine, Demachy includes ylang-ylang extract, while orange blossom absolute adds a full and gorgeous sensual note. To create impression of tasty fruit notes, this composition uses tuberose and vanilla, while green leaves and stem carry the scent of freshness. A base of Hypnotic Poison Eau Sensuelle incorporates creamy trace of sandalwood and musk, which are as harmonious as a woman's siluette.
Eau Sensuelle is like a flight to seduction offered by classic Hypnotic Poison with irresistible floral expression with accentuated sensual notes. Advertising face of Hypnotic Poison Eau Sensuelle is Monica Bellucci decorated and surrounded with orchid flowers.
Advertising campaign is signed by creative director for make-up by Dior – Tyen. He wants to highlight purple orchid petals with fiery red details and nuances of marshmallow.
The new seductive fragrance by Dior - Hypnotic Poison Eau Sensuelle is available as 50 and 100 ml, as well as 100 ml spray deodorant from September 2010. (cosmoty.de)
I don't like Hypnotic... But after seeing this one, I can't wait to try this one..This is sooooo fascinating:)Love the bottle color 2....
thanks for the d Lovely article Sandrina
It sounds a bit like the original with the rose. I wonder why the didnt give it a new name? If its dramatically different, how about Red Poison or something? Just a thought...
really loved hypnotic poison.. lets see what this will be like
I'm so excited! That I just can't hide it! lalala! I really want to try this one, since I don't really adore the original, which is to dry to my senses I suppose. I hope this one is more sultry :) and with the purple added, the bottle is gorgeous!
I dont want to expect too much from this Hypnotic Poison Eau Sensuelle. I do love Hypnotic Poison, and I wish this will be more seductive with additional notes of woodsy. With right composition, Sensuelle could be lagend like the first Poison in black bottle.
However, based from the notes, this would be soft notes. Maybe a sweet girlie and no sexy sensual seduction. The ad look weak to emphasize how sensual it is. So, I dont hope for sexy, mystery and dark like what original Hypnotic offered me.
The campaign ad look cheap, I thought it was a make up ad, but wrongly placed the bottle there. Remind me of Avon Lahana advertisement back in 80's and 90's. The color as well, red and purple, remind me of Marc Jacobs Lola. Let's hope the smell have nothing in common because I hate Lola.
Haven't been able to wear Poison in the past but with the changes in notes will give it a try - certainly sounds different to the original - more floral - will be interesting to see how it goes on my skin with the change in composition.
The notes look wonderful-I love them all. I would be happy to try this flanker as there is no sweet almond note.
I don't want to smell like marzipan, but white flowers, yes!
This is all I need, another Poison to lust after!
Can't wait to try this one. Bottle looks beautiful and hopefully the scent will be as well:)
The bottle is very beautiful.Looking forward to its launch.

Bottle is a real jewel, and flower juice with fruity tuberose chord..hmmm we will see:)) I think it would be real seductive experience!
Cumin is in original Hypnotic. This new one will be more floral.
